They were pretty smart really. They’re close enough that they feel right, but next to the original you can tell them apart. And more importantly, you can’t swap parts. Non-repro folks should be happy.

These reissues are great! I also acquired these through BBTS bcus I never saw them at retail. Also, last week I was able to get all 4 plasma series glow in the dark Slimed versions which are currently on sale on BBTS. Great review like always Michael.

Saw Egon at target, almost bought him, hopefully they will be around for awhile, I saw an April O'Neal playmates ninja turtles that I chose over Egon. I know lots of people complain about companies trafficking in nostalgia but I think some of them look great and it's fun collecting them for those who don't have their childhood toys, the playmates original turtles remakes look awesome and there like 10$.

My Wal Mart had all of them marked down to $8 and I know a store like Ollies and Big Lots have or had them for $5 last August. They have been around for a few years and got them all when they went on clearance. Got the ghost popper gun for $7 at Wal Mart which is crazy. Wal Mart is already putting Frozen Empire stuff on clearance.

I have all of these reissues thus far except the Green Ghost (Slimer) and very much love them for being so dead on to the originals, and the reasonable price. I've seen a couple of the Fright Feature reissues in stores, and will pick those up too. I got those first back in 89 even before I got the original toon accurate versions.

You can just switch the handle for Winston. I think the cords on both version are holding the handles with a knot. Might worth to take a look 😊

I grew as well up with Ghostbusters and the Real Ghostbusters as I have ever since I was 3 literally been a die-hard GB fan! I never got those awesome action figures as a kid so I had to settle for playing with my cousins figures. Now as an adult, I was so amazed and so glad they re-issued the figures and Ecto-1 - and at same time Hasbro releases the "Fright" series of more mvie like action figures and Ecto-1. So I had to make a choice for my money. I went with the Freight figures as they are slightly more appealing, and all ghosts and monsters from RGB worsk well with the Freight figures (well for display, ha-ha). However, why have they not re-issued the HQ firehouse? Dang it I would want to make a great display of evreything!

My originals' proton packs have the cable to the wand coming from the the bottom of the pack...not the center of the accelerator.

Some day. The main plus is getting rid of the horrible musical number in Jabba's palace. I actually prefer the Special Edition end music though over the Ewok yub-nub song. But my Anakin ghost at the end will always be Sebastian Shaw.

Disappointed that the Kenner Classic packs don't snap satisfyingly in place. That was the first thing I tried when I opened them and was saddened that it was gone.
