That knife doesn't have any brass in it at all. The one you cleaned up. So it's possible that it was made during WWII. And you done an excellent job on it.

The camp knife is WW2 U.S. military issue. The military also issued the EZ opener but I didn't get a good look at the blade stamp, if it is four line Camillus, it most probably is WW2 issue.

3n1 is not good knife lube. The best knife lubes have graphene in them and are state of the art like Gunny Juice lubes and KPL lubes that have graphene in them. Flitz polish is better to use than sandpapers to clean away corrosion on old knives and it's a great polish. Invest in a bottle of Flitz liquid and some kind of lube with graphene in it for your knives. It's worth the investment
