Vintage/Lambeth Cake Tutorial | How to make a Vintage Style Cake | Buttercream Piping Techniques

These were the kind of pretty cakes you'd see in an old advert or a TV show where the mum had an apron around her waist and a piping bag in her hand with the cake on the table 😍🎂
I used a 7" cake The recipe for my sponge cake is here • Classic Victoria Spong...
The colours used for the buttercream are Wilton Teal and Pink. I picked these colours since spring is just around the corner 🌸
All the piping nozzles are Wilton.
I've lot my touch with piping buttercream but I still try my best 😅
If you're a beginner always pipe slowly till you get the hang of it. Practice a lot it makes your piping skills perfect. You don't always need a cake to practice even a plate will do.
