Always good to see downtown Chattanooga! Those construction projects will be finished before you know it!

It has been fun capturing the Embassy Suites especially as I caught it right at the beginning. Thank you Tim

Thank you David for a very nice informative video. The Elmarit lens line in 1964 was the new and improved version of the slower f3.5 Elmar Leica lens line.

They did good with it. I can only imaging how the newer glass would perform. I kinda like the stars this one makes when stopped down though so I will just hang onto this one. Haha.

@@davidsaylors Yes indeed keep it...anything Leica branded seems to be investment quality

That lens has very acceptable sharpness and clarity. The second male model at 5:26 looks like a professional modeling photo. Everything was just right in the photo. Have you ever considered going to Chicago for street photography? You could do a day session and then night photography in scenic places.

I have talked a couple time to George Nagata about going to Chicago but have never actually done anything past that. It would be awesome if I could though. Thank you for the compliment. The low light photography would be especially fun to me. Even more so if it has just rained. Wet roads in the city at night is magical.

@@davidsaylors You are exactly right David. Right after a nice rain. A few years ago I drove through Louisville, Kentucky at night. Louisville has attractive architecture for night photography. At the time the bridge had colored lights on it etc...

It looked like a fun photo walk. I love seeing you put vintage glass on the ZF. It's the perfect camera for you. That lens or lens hood cap was very cool.

Yeah, you know the guy that made it. It is Keith. He is a man of many talents. Thank you Phil I appreciate it.

Great video, can those older Leica lenses be found at a pretty decent price?
@davidsaylors26 күн бұрын
Comparative to newer stuff… yes. Compared to Nikon or vintage Pentax glass…no. I think I got this one for 300$ if I remember right. Pentax would run about 100$ for a similar lens.
