YES. My current camera of choice is the Sony A7R4. The list of lenses adapted so far are the Konica Hexanon 135mm f/3.5, Super multi-coated Takumar 135mm f/3.5, Vivitar 135mm f/2.8, Vivitar series 1: 70-210mm f/3.5 (macro-ish), and two Petzval style lenses that I modified myself using two Leitz Wetzler Hektor projector lenses, the 85mm and 120mm f/2.5, using helicoids and some gaffers tape around the barrel to make them snug. I'm not entirely sure about your particular lens, however, I believe that if you add a small focusing helicoid (i.e. 17-31mm) between your lens and your adapter or between your adapter and your camera mount, you can decrease the close focusing distance of your lens to get even closer to your subject.

Its nice to take control isn't it? This is the essence of film photography. Very nice portraits.

Definitely. Lets me some slow things down a bit and appreciate the overall art form more.

Love the video, yes I use many vintage lenses by Olympus on my Sony FF cameras. The images certainly have a pleasant, retro and softer feel to them. Have never sold any of my Zuiko lenses from yesteryears, instead added more to my collection. Rarely use my OM4 film camera that I bought second hand in 1986, as I converted to digital in 2013. Give the Olympus Zuiko 50 mm f1.2 a try.

That must be really fun using those vintage lenses. That 50mm f1.2 sounds liken it would give off great softness around the subject for portraits. I’ve never used a lens that can stop down to f1.2 but definitely want to try one.

This lens - the Nikkor - S pre Ai 50mm f 1.4 to a Nikon ZF camera. It's a great combo because on the ZF eye detect AF point will still work. It will put the AF point over the eye even though there is no auto focus. But once the AF square picks up an eye and you punch into 100% view and the view finder will punch in right onto the selected eye making manual focus on the eye dead easy Your portraits are beautiful BTW

Wait, so you’re saying that even though this lens has no electronic components that eye AF still works on a Nikon ZF camera? That’s amazing. And thanks!

I've adapted both the Konica Hexanon 50mm f1.4 and the Konica Hexanon 57mm 1.4, and both are pleasing in slightly different ways.

Those are nice lenses. Which camera bodies did you adapt them to?

If you like that lens, you need to try the 50mm f2 (It's not called the Japanese summicron for no reason). Probably run you $40-$60. I personally prefer this over the f/1.8 and f/1.2 50mm. I was actually mad I bought the f/1.8 after b/c I had to return it. That's the only reason not to buy it, because you're probably going to sell the 1.8 Definitely one of the best lenses ever made, especially at f/2.8 for portrait work. It's a workhorse and one of the few lenses not a Leica, that gives images life.

I just searched it and yeah it is relatively inexpensive. If you had to choose one vintage 50mm lens, would it be that one?

@@eduardoarias_photo Leica 50mm f/2 SUMMICRON-M, but since I don't own a Leica, the 50mm f/2 is my 50mm of choice.
