Retired means being busier than ever doing unimportant things that can be postponed till tomorrow, but has your immediate attention for the time being until your missus interrupts you for really silly reasons like drinks time, dinner time even time to take a bath because visitors are coming. Good luck.

Congratulations on retirement, Keith! After my Dad was retired for a while, I asked how he enjoyed his retirement. He said retirement was harder than working. He explained that when you work, the day has a beginning and end. When your retired, you're retired 24 hours a day. There's no excuse to stop. I took early retirement and my Dad was 100% right! The things you have always said that you'd get around to one day, well. it's that day...every day.

Even retired (no livestock) so I was mostly semiretired most of my life. Busier than hell in spring and then again at harvest but basically not much pressure in between. So essentially I’ve always considered myself “semi-retired” in between. Retirement to me just represented an extension of my life. So enjoy it KR. You’ve got a hobby. Your shop is your hobby. You’ll be fine.

Congratulations again and may your health be well and allow you to continue working in the shop. Looking forward to seeing more videos. 🎉

I think I know the emotions in retiring from doing something you loved to do. I tell folks I truly looked forward to going to work every day. It was a difficult decision to leave behind dozens of colleagues that I enjoyed working with very much.
