In this episode, Jeremy shares some original Six Flags Magic Mountain Merchandise Grand Opening, May 29th, 1971!
Professor Jeremy Patrich, (The Backyard Geographer) welcomes you to another exciting episode from Out of The Collection! He has been diligently cleaning up in his garage and is very excited to share some of the items he is rediscovering from inside his private collection. Being an eclectic collector for most of his life, you just never know what to expect.
Fun Fact: Opening in 1971, Magic Mountain was a theme park owned by the Newhall Land & Farming Company. With the help of Arrow Development (a rollercoaster design company that really got their start with Disneyland), a park with some amazing attractions! The Looney Tunes have always been there... but in 1972 Magic Mountain would introduce The Troll! King Blop, Bleep, Bloop, and the Wizard!
A special thanks to Video Public Domain for the footage, and KZbin for the great music! Also thank you to my Director, Producer, and Editor Nicole VanBroekhuizen.
Don't forget to subscribe so that you can be one of the first to see what else he's found!
