I found a face powder that looks vintage but it has no markings and i think i found the brand but i have no idea guess i need to keep up on the research. I have no idea where it even came from it could have been my great grandma's or my ex husband's grandma or mom .

Hi! I really do not clean my compacts when I receive them. If anything, I'll just use a paper towel with some water. 😊

Do they sell those heart ones on the UK? They simply just do not make cosmetics the same anymore

I have seen a few on eBay that were located in the UK, but it's something you have to search for everyday. The YSL heart compacts are from the 1980s or 1990s, they also made a matching heart lipstick, which is very difficult to find.

Yes, these would get refilled when empty.

Most of these compacts are not made by an actual cosmetic brand. They would just put their favorite powder in these compacts. I'm sure if the compact was by a brand, then they would refill it with the same brand (like Revlon or Coty....)
