O how I love tripping down Memory Lane with yall!! I remember the shadow box in my Grandma's house having geisha & mud men style figurines. It was definitely a "don't touch" area of the house which made it fascinating to me. Great production & as always. Thanks for sharing. Hugs from Arkansas 💜💜

Very interesting collection of shadow boxes and atomic wall art. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." "Form follows function??". I see some of those as a practical way of displaying small collectibles. Others are statement pieces, and " wall fillers." Some would say avant garde, kitsch, bold, pretty, wild, or even tacky! In many cases, form preceded function. It is up to each individual to decide if they are practical or stylish.

Hi guyz, Wow that was a super collection. Both my Mom and her sister (my aunt) had rectangular shadow boxes on their living room walls from marriage in the mid 50s I assume to when I have memories of them as a kid in the mid 60s. Both had mirrors with a gold marbleized effect for background. I remember my Aunt's lady head figurines with fake pearl necklaces and earrings displayed in hers. LOL. I had zero clue they were as elaborate as what you just showed with clocks in them, the geometric shapes etc. Amazing. That was fun to watch. TY

In 1958 Picasso lived with us. Just kidding. We did have painted chalkware tribal items on the basement walls. Bongos, masks, and such. We could never complete paint by number pictures because of our ADHD disorders. I did complete string and gravel art masterpieces. LOL. These shadowboxes were amazing! Thanks!

I have one very similar to the one at 5:30, mine is a bit nicer. I inherited it, what are they worth today?

People ask all kinds of prices! I’d say at least 200.00 for yours!
