Viewing in the video, I would say that is a Montblanc 221. The cap, barrel, and the section of the model of 220 share the finish like lamy 2000 which is so called "makrolon". 220 comes with two siblings which is 224(gold cap), and 225(silver cap).

Troy that is a nice example of the seventies style pen slim and rather elegant in appearance also a it is a Mont Blanc. I haven't got any vintage MB s but i do have the MB 146 which to me is just the same as any other high end pen. But the difference is it's all about the name Mont Blanc which makes the difference and also not forgetting quality of course. Thanks again for another awesome review i appreciate it very much.

The 60's and 70's definitely brought slender pens as being in vogue. I have a bunch of MB, Lamy, and Watermans that are all slender from that time period.

Troy absolutely true iv'e got a Parker "61", Parker "21", and a Lamy 25 P to name but a few of these 60's and 70's Trend Setters. As always thank you very much for your reply i appreciate it very much.

This is the style of pen I love: slim black pens of the 60s and 70s. I currently own two Montblancs from this era, and have a third one in my shopping cart as a possible purchase. Darn it: I just checked my secret source of slim black pens. They have a 220 and a 225. Now I'm hungry for both. Darn it, must have self control!

Two pens for purchase...first world problems. Go figure. I know the temptation well. The slim, black pens like this are simple yet elegant, and generally great writers.

Hey, you can't keep it! Give it back to Mrs LaPlante! Actually, Troy, I was quite surprised when you said pens like this should cost around $100 or even less. I didn't think it possible to get a Montblanc for that sort of price. I like the classic black pen design and it writes very well. Thanks for the review.

She got the pen back just after the video was recorded. I have found two slender vintage Mont Blancs for under $100. You just have to look and be patient.

i thought the MB 220 was a piston filler, not cartridge. Does it depend on the year?

According to www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/13220-montblanc-220/#entry2238156, the model was made in both a piston and a cartridge model. The article I read from Pen Hero, which I am not able to find right now, only mentioned cartridge as I recall.
