Vintage musical coloured Christmas lights from the 90s plays 21 songs.

Another version of musical Christmas lights from my light collection. These also came from eBay. There is 100 lights on the string and they play 21 Christmas carols. Did you guys ever have these lights before or a different set? I know I’m posting this after Christmas but it’s still kinda the holidays! Hope you all enjoy! :)

This is the EXACT music that our Christmas lights played when I was a little kid, down to the order of the songs. It's burned into my memory, and those are some of the coziest and most comforting memories I have. I can just picture myself in Sonic the Hedgehog PJs, sitting by the tree on Christmas Eve with a cup of hot cocoa just losing my mind with excitement for the morning to come. I'm in my mid 30's and never thought I'd hear that music again - thank you for uploading this!

Mr. Branden, would it be possible to post a video with just the music from start to finish without the audio dipping out? It would be nice to play this music in the house around Christmas time or make a sound box for our Christmas lights in a project.

This made me emotional. My grandma had these and I knew it was Christmas at her house when I heard them. She is dead now and we no longer get together with family. This brings back good memories.

These I got from eBay. The sellers name is Jglassboy I believe. This exact kind of lights seem to be semi common on eBay.

As far back as I can remember My (Nanny) grandma used to have this exact set. eventually i remember the wires broke but I loved them so much that I sacrificed a normal set of mini lights and spliced them on to the musical box with black tape. That lasted a couple years until the musical box stopped working and I was so sad. Me and my parents went out to the local stores and eventually bought a modern bluetooth set but they never matched the beauty and simplicity of the vintage set. Finally in 2019 I was looking through the christmas lights at my local thrift store and to my delight saw the exact same set with a 5 dollar price tag so I grabbed them and ran to the closest socket I could find hoping they would work so I plugged them in and the music started playing the lights flashing along. The nostalgia ran through me so I bought them and have been enjoying them ever since. Still have them and they still work perfectly in 2021

Oh yes the multi chanel sets I love those and have two led sets one non musical with 3 chanels (red green blue) and the bluetooth set I mentioned witch has 4 chanels (red green blue purple) witch I do like but I always seem to have bad luck with the vintage musical ones. At our own apartment when I was little we had multi chanel musical ones like you mentioned but my dad would staple them to a doorframe every year witch wasn't good for the wires but I was too young and didn't know any better to tell him to put them up a different way and eventually the chanels sadly died one by one the last I remember only the red chanel would work and then it stopped working as well. I cried that night and begged my mom buy a new set but by then the stores stopped carrying the vintage musical sets and I had to settle with the 3 chanel led set I mentioned earlier. Many years later like around 2018 in a thrift store I found an all white set when I tested at the store worked perfectly so we happily bought them and set them up at home WITHOUT STAPLES instead I used tacks between the wires witch wouldn't damage them and they worked for a few weeks but then then the music box would cut out so I'd have to tap it every once in awhile to keep the music playing witch eventually got so bad that I would have to tap the box every few minutes witch got very anoying I put them away and haven't used them since. but I still keep them at least until I can find another multi chanel set somewhere for reletively cheep sense we don't have much money. Until then I'll keep using the one chanel musical set and the led multi chanel sets witch keep me happy. But I do keep a lookout for a vintage musical multi Chanel set but I probably won't use ebay since the prices are usually quite high especially the Shipping fees. By the way are you Canadian because I noticed in the video description you use the Canadian spelling of colour with the U instead of color witch I love because I'm Canadian. Omg my childhood 😭 as a 90’s kid I would sit under the Christmas tree or choose to sleep in the lounge just so I could listen to the songs played. We had the exact same lights, I’ve been trying to find them so I could put it on my Christmas tree for my daughters 🎄

They are a UL listed item. But yeah any light set especially these older ones could be a fire hazard if not cared for properly. Or if there are problems. Etc frayed wire. So far I haven’t had any problems with them.

I miss my set. The transition between songs is good with a note combining 2 together. Not many versions did that. Also that last song gets cut.

I had the same exact music box for 15+ years. I swapped the box during the years with other lights but keeping the box. I even put an remote control to turn on and off 😂. Could you please just record the song? The Volume it's fluctuating and I want to make my own Christmas lights with this songs
