"Gentlemen's Agreement" was made into an excellent movie starring Gregory Peck.

All beautiful pieces! Sad 😔 the plate broke and it looked very well packed. My guess may have had a hairline crack and with shipping movements broke further. Looking forward to your next unboxing video! Much love to you! ❤

I LOVE vintage box unboxings lol! The glass cruet with the stopper would be lovely sitting beside plants in your study with water for them if you have any in there :) It sounds like the style of your study is right up my ally, I can't wait to see it!

Beautiful things! Though the sounds of the broken plate made my heart drop. Every time I hear anything about doilies, which I love, I giggle thinking about moving into our home after we got married. I was searching everywhere for the box with the doilies and my husband asked what I was trying to find. He was utterly mystified as I described them over and over until in my frustration I grabbed an envelope and sketched one out. He suddenly realized what I meant and said, "Oh! You mean the lamp coasters??" 🤣 I nearly died laughing!

I recently discovered your channel and have been going back and watching a lot of your videos as they are recommended, so I thought I'd just put a quick thank you here, because I'm enjoying your channel so much. The unboxing videos are so fun to watch, and I'm really enjoying all the other topics you cover as well. The clothes, the shoes, the hair styles and makeup, the catalogs, everything I've seen so far have been right up my alley and I love the way you present them. So, thanks again!

What a lovely collection of things, you could use parts of the broken plate as jewellery & as a background for a decoupage picture.

The little pitcher is my fave! It's probably hand painted like the many pieces I have in my collection. Back in the day, ladies of leisure would get together in their homes and paint these beautifully thrown pieces, usually by local potters especially in Britain, and then hand paint them to give away as gifts, or to decorate the guest bedrooms of their London townhomes, say.

Oh I love that! What a fun way to spend time with girlfriends.

@@TheGlambassador My great auntie told me this when I was a girl. It was something she did herself as a young, newly married woman. I have many of her pieces.

I love unboxing videos! This one is amazing! So many beautiful items! I really enjoyed! Cannot choose my favourite but this little pillow is so cute and I love the book of 1931 year about a house. Of course looking forward to seeing your office and guest room!

What lovely stuff. I first thought the lace an perl bit was sth. to hang a plant pot in - but obviously isn't. My favorite are the glasses❤

My room is darkish botanical. Not as dark as I would like it because of the type of house it is. It can’t handle really dark colors. If you seen it you would understand. I’m still pitting it together with decor. I am not frantically trying to buy a bunch of things usually cheap any more I’m practicing giving more thought in each purchase.

That was a fun box. Too bad about the broken piece. As per the little pillow the term you were looking for is needlepoint. And the small decanter is part of a cruet set. My mom and grandmother always had vinegar in one of those. (Awesome sprinkled on greens!) Thank you for sharing the whimsy box.
@TheGlambassador2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I wasn’t sure if needlepoint was a separate thing or just the umbrella term for that type of craft. I appreciate the correction. And yeah, I knew it was from a cruet set, my mind totally blanked on the word, so thank you. I’ve seen some really lovely sets at flea markets and always wanted to get one. 💕

I do not understand why they did not use bubble wrap for the breakable items . Good concept but poorly executed .
@TheGlambassador2 жыл бұрын
I’m sure they are trying to be more eco friendly. I’m happy with less plastic in the packaging. Everything else was just fine, things happen and they are actually sending me another piece to replace the broken one.
@MM.642 жыл бұрын
@@TheGlambassadorI thought about that but a replacement means another package . And bubble wrap can be reused . But if you are satisfied with their services , that's all that matters . Cheers !

@@TheGlambassador You should contact them and tell them about the broken plate. Maybe even suggest they use thick towels to wrap the breakable stuff. Feed back like that can help them improve their services.

@@9Tailsfan I did, they are sending a replacement item.
