Vintage organ noises and idiosyncrasies, are they essential to the sound?

We know that many 'clonewheel' organs can get close to the Hammond, Vox, and Farfisa sound. Some are now fitted with controls to allow the introduction of organ 'faults', like key click, leakage, and cross talk. Some of these effects can be a bit overdone. So what odd and idiosyncratic noises does a genuine vintage organ produce and does it contribute to the listening experience?
Here I've recorded a few of my own vintage organs and speakers to give a flavour of those noises. Of course each old instruments varies a little, even the notes on the same organ can sound a little different, as can those clicks, pops and the hum!
