Hello Folks today I am restoring this vintage fogger .
In the midst of my passion for collecting vintage machinery and equipment, I stumbled upon a hidden gem that would prove to be a challenge - a vintage fogger machine from a bygone era. Little did I know that this rusty relic would take me on a journey of discovery, restoration, and a newfound appreciation for craftsmanship.
The Discovery:
It all began with a chance visit to an old, abandoned farmstead. As I explored the decaying outbuildings and overgrown fields, my eyes fell upon a peculiar machine covered in layers of dust and cobwebs. With its weathered appearance, it was clear that I had found something special. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was a vintage fogger machine, likely from the early 20th century, used for pest control in orchards and farms.
As I began to disassemble the fogger, it became evident that the aluminium body had not aged gracefully. Decades of exposure to the elements had left it riddled with holes and corroded patches. It was a disheartening sight, but I was determined to bring this piece of history back to its former glory.
The next step was to address the holes in the aluminium body. This involved welding and patching, a delicate process that required a steady hand and an eye for detail.
Once the body was restored, attention turned to the inner workings. I meticulously cleaned, repaired, and refurbished each component, from the pumps and nozzles to the intricate brass fittings. It was a process that demanded patience and a deep understanding of vintage machinery.
After a months of dedicated effort and countless hours of labour, the vintage fogger machine stood before me in all its glory. Its aluminium body, once marred by holes and corrosion, now gleamed with pride, restored to its original splendour.

I recommend using rust converter on any sort of tank or anything that must hold liquid. Saves you from thinning the walls and causing holes via rust removal. You can paint right over the hardened rust after the rust converter dries.
