Hi Eva, very creative idea. I do my own nails and I use the same nail tools for dry embossing. They're so much less expensive. I love making frames so this tutorial was right up my alley. Thank you for sharing. GOD Bless

I think that is a very clever idea. I love it! But would never combine alcohol and heat (maybe poof!). Rather than try to kill germs, maybe encase them with matte spray sealer or Mod Podge. Or just don’t say where the cardboard came from. Anyway: fabulous idea. Love the idea of ironing the cardboard using water spray (from an earlier comment).

Alcohol is flammable and can catch fire when heated. Ordinary water will work .

NO NO NO emmm...eva you really should not iron alcohol. a 40% alcohol solution has a flash point of 26 Celsius /79 Fahrenheit and you are using a 99% solution. ironing it could ignite it and it would also ignite the fumes which would make a flame ball in the air containing the fumes, it is very dangerous. if you wait for it to dry before you iron it, the alcohol will be evaporated and then it should be safe, it would of course be a little harder to flatten but you could always use steam from the iron. you need to make sure you do not even spray alcohol near the iron because the mist is even more dangerous then the liquid.
