The kid in the video is wearing a mock turtleneck shirt. I loved mock turtlenecks, and I loved actual turtlenecks. I miss those days. I miss them so much, I think I will get into my Delorean time machine and go back to the sixties.
Only a kid could enjoy Pop Tarts. It is not exactly - FINE DINING. A hard crust with a fraction of an ounce of filling is not my idea of YUMMY, YUMMY, FOR MY TUMMY.

When I was a kid in the 60s/70s my mom used to buy PopTarts regularly . She would eat them , too .Her favorites were the brown sugar cinnamon and strawberry. I always liked the chocolate

@@kurtkauffman4326 LOL!! I remember those episodes. I have to DVD set that has Mr. Dimsdale in it when they recorded that (awful) song with Peter's voice changing. Did you know he (John Wheeler) was an opera singer?

These commercials make me want to look back at the older days where things and food were original, although I wasn’t born in the 60s/70s/80s, I still want to taste the original.

It's clearly shot on film. Plus film cam look very good so long as it was fairly well preserved. There's no reason to think this is any more recent then the 60s, let alone shot on a modern camera (which are mostly digital nowadays)
@tskraj3190
@tskraj3190 Жыл бұрын
@@KingGhidorah007 If it's in black and white it would have been in the 50's. The kids hair do and the length of the man's side burns point more to the late 60's early 70's which doesn't match the commercial being filmed in black and white.
@marksmith4828
@marksmith4828 Жыл бұрын
@@tskraj3190 Looks like 1967, the year the frosted version of Pop Tarts came out. This was probably a film designed for local television stations that hadn't yet completely converted locally (not their network feed) to color. Printing a black and white film copy for those stations was a bit cheaper. I would say that well over half of the local stations were converted to local (film, slides, studio cameras and video tape) color by this time, but a small number had not.
