You forgot to mention Nabisco's Toastetts, my Dad worked for them back when I was a kid. They lasted for a while I believe into the 90s or early 2000s, then we're discontinued. The flavors they had were brown sugar cinnamon, apple, strawberry, cherry, and blueberry. Apple was my favorite. They were really good.

Never thought pop tarts would be in the same sentence as zeitgeist or pantheon. For my American morning sacrament I drink a tall glass of Coca Cola and eat cold pop tarts to start my day.

Currants are European grapes, or just what some referred to as grapes in the US at the time, considering most immigrants and subsequent generations at the time were of European heritage.

Currants are dried fruit related to sultanas & raisins only smaller with a more "spicy" flavour. Everyone know who's lead an unsheltered life knows what they are. Also it's pronounced the same as the word "current" not as if it's spelt "Kurant" like you do.
