I have one! Bought it in 1969 in Vietnam. It was manufactured in 1966 though and looks almost new today . A priceless heirloom that you can’t put a price on.

Great vid. It’s all about the dial. How do meters first matte 5513’s subs compare to the maxi I dials in terms of collectibility?

Got a 69 1680 mk1. Great piece.

1967 meters first here, on riveted 01 68 bracelet. Bracelet European version (outer links narrower than on the US bracelet). Patina is light, like eggshell. Next target is a 1966 Bart Simpson gilt piece with massive dial alteration, probably water damage. But it looks absolutely exceptional.

Re 1680 mark 1-6 dial - not correct … mark 1-2 had meters first and not as described in video

Wrong. 1680 Mark 1, 2 and 3 had "meters first" dials made by Singer. The changeover in the 1680 to "feet first" happened in late 1970. Marks 4, 5 and 6 had "feet first" dials made by Singer, Beyeler and Lemerich respectively..
