Would love to watch more of the old sleds. Nothing like getting an engine to run after way to many months

Those barvo's are most reliable sleds made. Not fast at all but it will get you home.👌✌🤘

I love that old '70 Oly. Had a couple of them. Some of the best sleds ever made in my opinion. The Terry Sawchuk windshield is a classic man!

The old Rotax Ski Doo does it always . I had a 1971 Olympic 335 Ran it for 5 years , great travels in the boonies of Quebec around rural Montreal,

I love snowmobiles sadly only used them about 3 times in Bosnia for resupplying a rebroadcasting station in the hills. It was a soviet built copy of the Olympic with a big old 2 stroke engine about 600cc I think. It hauled two of us and two sleds of batteries food and gas for the fuel heaters 👍 As ugly as sin but by heck she got the job done with (relative) ease. Charlie 🇬🇧

I bought a 1970 Ski-doo in 1977. The 250cc engine was replaced by the previous owner with a 399cc bombier race engine with a single carb. I still have it and those who see it going always cheer and take pictures. It runs like a bat out of hell in the straights but it is easy to tip over on sharp turns. The only thing I've done with it is a new track, ski skids and wiring. But it still looks orginal and in great condition. Thanks from Seward Alaska.

The Olympic sure brought back some memories. I drove one when I was a kid 40 yrs ago. They were slow and heavy and smelled like gas and oil and id do it again in a second LOL. The one I drove had no runners left on the skiis so you needed at least an acre of land to turn it around. Good times. Thanks for the ride.
@bobpickersgill4470 Жыл бұрын
Heavy? Maybe compared to a mini sled or Elan. Olympics are light. The aluminum '92 Bravo maybe lighter

Love the old sleds. When I was young, my first was a 1978 Polaris Colt 250. Paid $100 out of a snowmobile junkyard. It fowled plugs all the time, but it was alot of fun to ride.

* Dude you are so young 🤭 I remember when the "67" Ski Doos were new ... My friend's dad got one and he used to drag all four us around behind it on a "48" Ford car hood ! In 69 one of his friends got one called a " Boa Ski " that sucker seemed so fast back then . 👊😎👍

Love the Olympic…my dad had one that I ran mercilessly. He bought it brand new with the matching Ski Boose that we road in around town when we were little. I still have the sleigh but the sled is likely a Hyundai fender or something equally terrible.

That was fun, are they a centrifugal clutch deal? We don't get much snow in Australia so I have never had the opportunity to go for a ride on one, looks like fun though. The pop up headlight is cool, will be better when there is a light in there. I will watch just about anything you put up, I remember one time I spent 10 minutes of my life watching a guy put new line on his string trimmer, must have thought something was going to happen but it didn't. I quite like that you just do a running commentary rather than turning the camera on yourself, something different, adds a bit of mystery, although I did catch a glimpse in a rear view mirror once.

Just watched the latest offering and as usual enjoyed every minute. I have never seen snow like that in real life but you seem to have so much fun. I bet it gets old pretty quick though with such low temps and so much snow for long periods. I must say it is good to see more of you in the clips I did say you should show yourself a while ago. Remember you are the channel its good to see the star every once in a while. Good work keep it up and stay safe.
