Vintage Star Wars Kenner Death Star restoration - part 3 - Toy Polloi

Time for part three of the vintage Star Wars Kenner Death Star restoration. And time to fix the top gun, make a new rope swing, and add some stickers, both original stickers and a custom set.
The death star ends up being fully operational, although there are still a couple of areas I would like to cover fixing in future if I can find broken versions to work on.

I never liked this one and passed on it when the question of Christmas gifts came up, for one simple reason that still rings true; it looks nothing like the Death Star. That said, you're an incredible vintage Star Wars restoration expert, you're a wonder to watch 👍

Very cool sticker additions, it's funny when decals are the cheaper compromise option employed, but then they skimp on the stickers too.🤨The flat surfaces definitely look the most barren and the easiest to decal.😉

Awesome what those extra stickers did for the look of the play set... I'm glad I found your channel, I collect Hot Toys, but after watching several of your videos I decided to take my vintage toys out of the stored boxes and displayed them again.

I am not surprised but disappointed that the manufacturer didn’t spend a little time having the floors etc fully textured and molded in greeblies etc It would have made it look so so much better.

I was watching Retroblasting restore the Death Star and was wondering why he wasn't creating his own tabs and restoring things your way. Then I noticed his video was much older and decided to check if you had done a restoration of the same set. You went beyond restoration. Really well done.
