Great work! Thanks to you I've been able to build this kiln and experiment with it a little bit, and I'd like to share what I've found. 1. You actually can fire up to 24 clay/refractory bricks per space 2. You can add another floor of gratings to the kiln, but only on the third level (still, 18 firing places) 3. You do not need to add full stacks of fuel underneath the kiln to fire all the products (which is a good thing since it's easier to fire all 9 fuel places at once AND it burns quicker) 4. The amount of fuel needed to fully fire the products are dependent on the amount of occupied firing places. It does not depend on the type of products you fire. 5. The actual amount of fuel needed to fire 16/18 firing places (per fuel place) 12 firewood, 6 peat or 4 charcoal (so to fire 384 bricks you will need 108 firewood, 54 peat or 36 charcoal)

For what it's worth, my father sneezes in the exact same way, as loud as possible and uncontrollably! I thought it was him when your husband sneezed.

I cannot deaden my sound that much. My viewers are used to it! I also live near the sea , so occasionally you get the squeaking of the seagulls! I’m glad I’m not the only one with that issue.

I think you're right and the blue clay brick variants would look even better with more of a blue tone to them. I've just finished watching all your videos of this world in 1.19 and 1.20 over some time, thanks for all the good company while I'm gaming and working :) Looking forward to new videos in the future!

I think with bricks you can just stack them to the roof, and fill the entire 3x3x3 space. If I understand correctly, adding a second layer of grating is only relevant for types of pottery that can't be stacked on top of each other (jugs and whatnot).
@Ashantin32 ай бұрын
@@AnotherJRB You are spot on! Tyron confirmed bricks can be stacked as high as you like.

Do you know if those Clinker Clay bricks (the over cooked blue clay ones) can be used for anything at all? Or are they just completely useless? Because that color is lovely and it would be nice if there was some use for them.
@Ashantin32 ай бұрын
@@hengsheng7963 Yes. Tyron watched my video and has told me there is a recipe missing. We will be able to make brick blocks out of clinker!
