You should carry a stack of stones with you. When you miss the bunny with ALL the spears, you don't need to craft one more spear. You just throw stones. It takes only a few to take out a rabbit. Soft stones are undervalued by most players I find.

Btw, down in that 2. cave, did you register that there is limestone (for leather) and slate (good for roofing) ? Very couragous exploring caves in early game, without any armor !You´ve done very well 😃

Nice series! Early game is always no time to manage everything :D .My question thou :do cattails need to be planted in water with the new update? Until now they also grew on plain soil. The spot you choose for settlement looks quite nice with the big mountain, but those ferns and many bushes indicate that it is fully wolve-land, I think. But I think you´ll make good profit by killing them. Great find with the translocator so early!

Not just on plain soil. They can also grow on gravel. It's glorious. I setup a cattail farm right next to my panning station in a gravel biome. Good times, good times.

I had no idea that wolves tend to spawn in that biome. As for the translocator, I just hope it doesn’t take me to the bottom of an ocean like last time! XD

@@frameofgame9200 In those gravel and pine tree biomes? Yes. Pleanty of wolves and bears. It's glorious. Not much snow accumulation in winter, long distances visibility... with a sling those bears and wolves are nothing but fat and hide delivery systems. As I am a malefactor, they never even know that someone is attacking them.
