The first thing that comes to mind when I think of these old beauties are the surging engines, and boy these old girls don't disappoint!... Love them!...

This is great! Worth it just to listen to those engines - that's what a bus should sound like.

As a schoolboy, I ran and jumped on the back off these many a time while chugging up some hill. Instead of scolding you, the ticket guy would reach out and give you a pull up and on to the back platform ! We used to change the front number (clandestinely, from upstairs) into 007. We thought it was a hoot.

Love the old buses and the old frogs and Atlanteans were the Atlanteans pre - selector gear box? Or automatic????
@Gabrieljoseph1292 жыл бұрын
Atlanteans had a manual gear selector. I remember them as the size of a current Chupa Chups lollipop. I used to love watching the bus driver go through the gears after picking up/dropping off passengers

WOW that was like a really good porno movie. Brought back a flood of memories from when I was young. Now I'm looking for one of these old girls to convert to a RV
