Vintage Thrift Finds from the Antique Store and GoodWill

I went thrifting at goodwill, a small shop, and an antique store. I spent under $25 and came home with some vintage French treasures, a souvenir piece, embroidered linen, and more.

When I watch your videos, I think, "Now, how can she find anything better, than the last haul." I got to thinking that, things are not better by themselves, but better in their own categories. You get such a variety of things, that it is too hard to pick, just one favorite. You sure know how to give my brain some much-needed exercise, for sure! I just hope the last couple of sentences, made sense. LOL. Thank you, for that.. Those glass beads .......! Beautiful!

I think the mark on the pillowcase is a laundry mark. Back in the day well to do people would send their linens to a laundry pick up company. In my area their was a company called Loutit Laundry. Your haul is always lovely, especially when you arrange them in your unique way!

I concur. It’s a mark placed by the laundry service to identify the owner of the laundry.

Oh, how I love lavender candies. I buy them at Freshmarket and my local bakery and grocery. I'm told it's an acquired taste. I acquired it very young. You found some gems, beautiful pillowcase, glass beads and a poivre crock. What an excellent day of thrifting.

I liked the pepper container, I would put sprigs of greenery in it for the kitchen. So pretty. Lavender and lilac smell so good!

My favorite was the lady figurine and the glass beads. I have the glass beads in red and I drape them on my staircase at Christmas for a garland in between the wood spindles with red and gold velvet clip on poinsettias. You pick out very avant garde and distinctive things... 🥀
