There are times when it is nice to have a radio to listen to in a tractor. On this occasion who needs one when you have a little engine purring away and the clink of the seeders and soil mixing it up. Nice and relaxing....

Interesting and nice to see old machinery working well. Just shows you don’t need highly technical equipment if the old is looked after.

I'm sure that setup has saved you as lot of money doin what it was designed to do 👍 feel sorry for the young tractor drivers of today who have never experienced drivin a bog standard tractor with no cab 🙄 it's an experience like no other 💪 great video 👍

That offbeat three-cylinder soundtrack is a pleasure. Great video Dan as usual, I don't think I've seen a tractor tracked out that wide before, watch it doesn't kill wheel bearings! Nice day for it too!

Bearings will be OK, it only does about 4 hours a year.

Blaze is my cultivar of choice down here but we feed in situ to ewes, so no dramas with our harvesting, when it's dry... Thanks, great vlog as always 👍

There’s something nice listening to the plod of the old tractors. Mind you, after 16 acres at 5ft wide I’ve had enough of the tvo for this year 🤣😩🤦♂

Cracking video, really enjoyed it after a 150 mile drive to deal with a Contractor who is a pain (Construction) what I would have given to be plodding up & down on a 35 in the sunshine ?? Good drone footage, just the right amount & father looked like he was in his element. What about the sighting poles ?? getting in practise for a ploughing match ??

Well that was music to my ears 😁. Lovely filming work. ... now this might be an odd request but could you put the old fashioned touch to one of your classic vids at some point? I love the quality videos you do but some old bw video with dubiously dodgy quality would be a trip down memory lane when it comes to TV tractor viewing that is 😊.. Great video looked like fantastic weather for it to. Stay safe 🏴

It's done the job the only electric saying he's got is the starter If you send someone to use that today they would need an understand where where it was cos he hasn't got a cab with a horrible noise blasting in their ears and it doesn't cost 150000 Thousand I used one of these in the 70s and it worked perfectly good

Lovely video. Perfect tractor for the job. Where did you manage to get the exhaust from?
@CowfarmerDan2 жыл бұрын
It came from a trader at the Great Dorset Steam Fair a few years ago. It's well made and very heavy by the time I'd carried it a mile back to the car 😆

Cracking video again! Lovely little MF 35, it seems to only have one fuel filter? did some of the 3 cylinder 35 only have one?
@CowfarmerDan2 жыл бұрын
Yes, should have 2.

I notice you have the Hopper Monitor latched up, that will tell you when the hoppers are getting low on seed if connected. I assume you don't use it? I used to work in the Stanhay factory when it was located in Ashford Kent I know the seed spacing drill quite well.
@CowfarmerDan2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's a level monitor, but we don't use it.
@patrickaherne35982 жыл бұрын
Sweet to see the old girl and drill in action. How much does the beet seed cost per acre or hectare?
@CowfarmerDan2 жыл бұрын
Around £80 per acre
