Tape/Paint trick: Lay down your base coat color, let it dry, tape your lines... THEN... lay down another coat of base color over the tape, half on the tape and half into the feature color space, so if anything bleeds under the tape at this point it's all the same color... THEN... add your feature color and peel off the tape. Practice on a scrap, but it always works for me!!!

Lots of skills here _ a real job of it, but look what you"ve accomplished ! you are now proud owners of the sweetest Vintage travel trailer ❤. A fridge, heat, shelter, bed, a table to share morning coffees with your best friend. Now i guess you just need outdoor chairs and a firepit. It's smooth camping from now on ! I noticed you still call the truck a car 😊 it'll take a while, i know. Oh, and carpeting is extra insulation too, its a good thing.

I restored a pop up camper and I regret some things. I took out the shower and mistakenly left water in the water heater over winter and ruined it. But we’ve had fun with it. Good luck on your future life together!

It turned out so good! Love it all, you did it! Cheers to many fun adventures ahead. For the sink in ours we have a jug for water and a usb faucet. Works great the gray water goes into one tank. Ours is old, 1969 renovated.

Awesome! My husband can totally relate to your husbands comment “never again”. We did a frame off total rebuild on a 68 roadrunner and it took us 5 yrs working on the weekends…. But so worth it ! Enjoy!!!!!❤️.

If you camp in the winter, those windows will be chilly for whoever sleeps by window. We cut panels out of the bubble wrap with the foil looking stuff. Made a huge difference. The carpet will really help keep your feet warm. We piaced several runners like you did. You will see it makes a huge difference. I guess normal people do not camp in the winter. HA HA. Enjoy. You will love it. I love tent camping but I sleep better in the camper just because it "feels" safer. It turned out beautiful.

Old married couple fighting over the heater. Seen it a thousand times. "It's a camper not a Cadillac" was my motto during a couple renovations. As you are building, imperfections seem huge, but after your first trip you won't even notice them. Good job.
