Bvlgari Pour Homme has been my signature scent since when it first came out in 1996. It is still my go to fragrance despite having over 100+ fragrances and it has gotten me the most compliments out of all the fragrances! It looks like Bvlgari will be coming out with Bvlgari Pour Homme edp 2024 and I can't wait to get my hands on it!

Ramsey, Congrats on the vintage bottles & decants. Definitely a very generous gruop of fragheads out in the community. As for myself, Giving does wonderous for me health wise(spiritually, emotionally ). I always feel great after such acts. You mentioned VETIVER GERANIUM by creed. I myself used to own a bottle & thought it was amazing. Just to ket you know, thr original bottles came with a plastic cap. Later the cap was changed to a heavy gold cap, and its my understanding that the cap inducated a slight change,reformulation in fragrance I was ablevto compare both bottles & it aopeared that while the gold cap snelled pretty much the same as original plastic white cap bottle, gold cap had less longevity & sillage. So be aware that unless it does not matter to you,the plastic cap bottle is the one to get if purchasing again Thanks for vid. A2 P. S. After cap change of VETIVER GERANIUM, I heard that there were white olastic cap tester bottles on display in department stores. Id hate to think so, as it would imply deceitful selling tactics by store. Buyer smells tester bottle & ends up buying it,not realizing that the gold cap bottle they would get would not have same performance as the tester,which was the better,being the original .

Obviously I don’t know your situation, but I know that divorce is a terrible thing to have to go through. But everything happens for a reason, and if it’s reached that point, it’s probably for the best. I just hope they let you keep the fragrances 😂 But seriously, best wishes my man! Side note, I’ve been wanting to get my nose on Clive Christian’s E Gourmande Oriental. It doesn’t get much love from reviewers, but the little I have heard has been overwhelmingly positive. Based on the notes, it sounds fantastic!

Stetson McGraw, and Stetson McGraw Southern blend are discontinued but really good as well. And I have an empty bottle of Chaps but has a couple drops left and I pull that tin looking cap off and sniff it every now and then. It’s so good. But those Stetson McGraws are so good. I truly believe there’s a huge market for old school MASCULINE fragrances now a days especially if someone would ramp up the raw materials used. Sorry to be commenting so much tonight but watching you is taking my mind off of the news that I just got tonight. A couple of Meth heads completely stripped the wiring out of some house trailers that were left to me by my grandfather when he passed. And now they’re literally trashed and junk. But thanks for the escape brother, you are appreciated.

Man I totally agree with you on the MASCULINE market needing to be ramped up.... sux about the wiring ... that is what I love about this hobby.... no matter how real life gets this is such a beautiful hobby that can transport you to another world... and trust me I am going through some shit myself... its just part of life now a days

I have that exact bottle of Hugo. One of the very first fragrances I picked up in the early 2000s. The apple accord always reminded me of a dark plum at the time and I never could shake that association. 😄 Also safe to say that most bottles with "cologne" or "cologne spray" written on the front of an edt are nice 'n' old. Props to a marvellous community. 💚

Hi there I didn't realize you are going through divorce... sorry to hear that man. The passion for scents is a source of strength. As usual, it's a pleasure to listen to your thorough review. And even more so, it's a pleasure and inspirational to watch the passion in you when you do your reviews... it's contagious. Unlike you, I let old dogs lie - it's nice to smell vintage perfumes every once in a while, but I gotta keep on moving. If I wear, say, Kouros today, I'll feel something is just not right. Maybe it's because I have bad memories from this era. Same goes for PRPH, Polo, Grey Flannel and all the other perfumes I used to wear back in the 80s. I have only one perfume from the good old days - Eau Sauvage. That's the only pre 90s perfume that I can wear today and feel it's right. I have only 1 perfume from the 90s - vintage/Italian D&G PH. The rest of my collection is 2000+. I feel better wearing contemporary scents (such as TFs, Casamorati/Xerjoff, Byredo, Thameen etc.) Be strong, man. And thanks for the time you put into your extremely informative and interesting reviews.

Great gift haul ,Rams El Paso vintage version is not too shabby at all , love your opening statement on keeping the masses preoccupied by the rich ,back in the day the overlords had a similar mindset here in Ireland , Keep them drunk and ignorant, sadly it would seem many of us have by personal preference kept this mantra going to present day ,goddam wish people would wake up ,but our politicians are very happy to allow them to carry on regardless for their own political gains 😠cheers man have a great weekend 🙏✌️👍

☆Hey Ram, just wanted to state your definately a highlight of my days! Btw: that Nightflier/Bat debacle was rumored to have been a disagreement regarding the soil/fermented bannana notes. Don't know how true that is, was on a more concept fragrance fan tube... Very controversial, maybe even more than that frag-com fave Persepolis' mythology of extinction/cancellation... My love for fragrances started with a Hugo Boss Fragrance. It was „Boss Elements“, also marketed by Eurocos back in the 90s. Believe I also owned „Hugo“, after I saw the bottle in your Video. By the way, great content as always, your knowledge in fragrances is truly inspiring 👍.

There’s a this and that store down the road that I just seen has a bottle of grey flannel for $5 bucks. I told the lady to hold it for me because they only take cash, got a bottle of Aramis and Quorum and Halston z14 for $15 to wear during this last month that we’ve had snow and cold. My cousin gave me some Penhaligon Tragedy of Lord George that he paid over $350 for and his woman told me that my $5 dollar bottle of Halston z14 smells better. And someone sold h a cheap plastic sample of Creed Silver mountain water 5ml and it was clearly CK1. Unbelievable. But he didn’t know, but I told him to just binge the Ram. And he would be fine moving forward!!

they say Grey Flannel is "grandpa" , to me thats ageist . first of all and does NOTHING to speak to a masculine class gentlemens smell. not tart .not sweet. you can actually find Grey Flannel in racks. i have an old bottle and compared to a reform and its not that far away . the new batches are nuclear. 1 spray will last hours. my context is outside in strong wiontery or rainy weather old and new batch shines, so context is everything . im glad you presented it again . there are many who still love it so . ive seen reviewers spray 3 or 4 times and then hold it up to their nose. how far weve fallen from expected quaility. in my experience, wearing these in the real world , no one experiences frsgrance this way . its almost always in the air . and in the air Grey Flannel drys down beautifully and by the way theres an edt version with blue liquid which reminds of Platinum Egoiste without the spice feel that i love with that Chanel. quite fresh and good out of the shower. both are classy . and sorry tarts , ive gotten compliments on both.

i agree, even the cheap as chips new formula of grey flannel still does a really good violet. its only "pissy" as the kids say if you stick your nose in it within the first 15 mins. the sillage is actually really nice. its masculine but id call it beautiful more than macho

its funny, i thought i remembered what chaps smelled like (had an old metal cap version as a 10 year old in like 1995 lmao, who knows what happened to it) but then during a discussion about it alot more recently, the other person said it was super powdery so now i dunno lol, i remember brash leather. also thats awesome you have some Patrick, only because i remember at the beginning of my "journey" many people claiming its one of the most mossy fragrances. p.s. i actually never smelled original equipage but i have a decant of geranium and i really like it

I wasn't expecting Tommy Hilfiger T on this list - I remember getting a gift set for Christmas in the very early 2000s, as my parents knew I liked the original Tommy Hilfiger at the time. Nice fabric-wrapped box set with the shower gel, but the fragrance I thought was trying too hard to ride on the coattails of Michael Jordan cologne.

Hey! I use to own that style vintage bottle of Drakkar Noir, mine spayed aerosol like. I now own a circa (1989) splash bottle, I can tell no difference in the formulations of the two.
