Vintage Zebco 33 is the best ever!

Got one identical this summer at a church sale for 3 bucks. You cant beat it at that price. Ive got so many fancy baitcasters yet i seem to enjoy fishing with my Zebco 33 the most. Just a great solid reel ecspecially if you can find the old metal ones they made in the USA. Really wish they at least had a line of USA made reels. Id pay 50 bucks for a usa made 33 or even more

I never had a zebco just a cheap spinning rod loved it switched to a open face ugly stik though

@@masonm2140 open face can mean a baitcaster or a spinner, and I guess there are cheap baitcasters (kind of), my bad. Spinning rods are 10x better than baitcasters anyway so good on you, never had a spinner fail me, can't say the same for my baitcaster

I was fishing on okeechobee the other day and snagged an old line underneath the kissimmee river bridge. I pulled the line all the way up and attached to the other end of it was a fishing pole that old Zebco 33 on it. I can only imagine how long that rod and reel have been sitting down there, but that Zebco still worked!

Bruh the dock demon is such a good little rod…I’ve had one for years and that little guy catches fish… I’ve handed it down to my boy to keep it goin!

What type of grip is on this rod just got a hand me down rod from a cousins stepfather and idk when and how to use it has a nice snake skin on it and has the definitive curl on the grip dont know if I should use this for smaller fish or replace the bait-caster and good ole spinner

Man I had atleast 10 mint condition 33’s of my grandfathers that I kept forever and a hurricane destroyed my shed and everything in it back in 2018..I lost so much stuff that day but everything of his is what I think about the most still to this day..freakin sucks
