That's because the water was flowing downwards. Floating items was added in 1.13, this map is 1.16.5.

I can't quite tell with the shader's on, but I think they keep passing up tons of raw Iron blocks lol. That or it's actually tuff blocks.

This map is incredibly difficult - due to the eat to get hearts thing. I have died TOO many times (now semi-cheating... If I lose all the best gear, I reload a backup 🤫). Finding the wools isn't as simple as other maps - which is something I am really enjoying, it means I see more of the map makers world - stumbling on many cool things. Keep at it Team Canada!!!
