The "Property of Hermit Post Co." makes my day. Specialy in hands of someone with shulker farm and permit. 😂
@chicabear5 күн бұрын
Beef no longer has the permit, it belongs to the permit office right now and will go to someone else whenever they redistribute them. He does still have the farm though.

False uses green glass panes and brown candles to make cattails. 3-5 tastefully spread around the TCG pool would really make it pop.

14:00 For free roaming goats, I reckon you have 2 options: 1. A field of honey blocks, camouflaged by moss carpets. 2. Fences underground, with the goats attached to them by lead. So it will look as if the goat is free range, but they're actually tied up. Otherwise, a big pen with a glass roof (so they don't hurt themselves by jumping and lagging into the ceiling or something silly, lol.)
@ouzoloves5 күн бұрын
Hey beef, Just an idea about containing your goats. In the UK a traditional way to keep animals away from a manor house was to use a concealed ditched called a ha-ha (seriously). In minecraft you might be able to replicate this affect by using berry bushes in a trench covered with carpet. Etho is using this method to keep "snake" in his frogger game.
@purplejellytotPJT2 күн бұрын
+ this! ^ Or, a field of honey blocks, covered with carpet or moss carpet. Or fenceposts hidden underground, and attach the goats to them by leads. Will look from a distance like they're Free Goats.

@heatherkane72796 күн бұрын
You can use the allays to get the flower seeds! If you put a note block with a hermit head on it hooked up to two observers with hoppers all around it, it won't make an annoying sound, it'll keep the allays around, and the allays will keep bringing the seeds to the noteblock as long as chunks are being loaded. Allays are finicky though so I would keep at least one back tied up safe just in case they disappear. Hopper minecarts work too, just less fun :)
@shadowkokufu91785 күн бұрын
The momemt you said screaming goat I got some heavy flashbacks to mumbo throwing goats off a platform in the sky until he sent a screaming goat screaming... was the funniest thing ever. Also,i love the pond!
@joeward19976 күн бұрын
For the goats you could try using honey blocks as the floor of the outside area to stop them jumping out. You could put brown carpet and/or moss carpet on top of the honey blocks to make it look nicer. For the sniffers you could use the allays to collect the seeds they sniff up and either have it more manual where you go to them occasionally for them to give you the drops or have a redstone system periodically activating a note block with a collection system. You would probably have to have the allays on leads or in an enclosed area to stop them wandering off though. Love the pond area so far its looking great :)

@SnyperMK2000JclL6 күн бұрын
For the Goats... I believe the solve is 3 or 4 high fences, they jump crazy high! Also they don't jump while trying to get to wheat you're holding. P.s. at this point based on how many silly screams there are, I'm guessing you actually have 2 screaming goats.

What is this epicness in the beginning?! So needlessly dramatic, I was immediately drawn in.

@cioppila6 күн бұрын
To keep the goats in the island you could try berry bushes with carpets on top (like ren did for the armadillos), maybe they won't jump since they don't see it as a height difference, but as a hazard

That fountain that "might not make it in" cold be a small elegant rock formation with a stream of water feeding that pond you just made. It doesn't have to be huge. In fact I don't think much on the left side of the TCG Shop (viewed from the street) should have much of anything obstructing the windows too much. After all I think Joe's idea was to have a nice area to walk around the building and view the statues in the windows. Yah don't wanna hide everything too much, so maybe keep things short or if they are large use them to frame out the dead space around the edges without blocking the view of the shop from the street.

I enjoyed the adventuring section, more videos like that would be cool.

That was an absolutely EPIC adventure! I did not know how much I needed Beef and his gang of allays wandering the world in search of rare loot in my life!
@CoffeeShan5 күн бұрын
Honey blocks prevent them from jumping, but you'd have to decorate the ground with carpets to hide it, and if you have the fences on regular non-honey block, it's enough for them to jump over the fence. Trust me, I had to hunt my escaped goats all over the mountain 😩

One of the best things for sniffer farms is to create a enclosed structure for them, setup a constantly playing notebook surrounded by hoppers leading to chests, and release allies intonthe area to pick up the seeds for you. That said, the noteblock becomes annoying very quickly. So best to keep this setup away from main areas folks travel. OR, setup the minecart trick with redstone. No noise that way, but higher chance of it missing seeds.

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but I think a way to keep the goats confined into one area is by marking out the area with blocks that obstruct their pathfinding, then maybe placing honey blocks to keep ’em from launching themselves into places. Not quite certain if honey blocks work on goats though.

12:58 you can come up with a cool creative wall design that’s 3 tall? I don’t know if that tall enough t for them to stay contained, and if they can jump 2 blocks you would need to pay attention to trap door placement and such
