I dont think people truly understand how incredible and remarkable Lebron is. Just look at the date of this game. Literally 10 yrs ago and the guy was destroying the competition. The fact that he's STILL playing at this high of a level is mind-blowing

This was a very good pistons team the east isnt as weak as people make it out to be. Maybe recently
@stephcurrytheg.o.a.t6 жыл бұрын
rollon babe not it wasn't. They were missing Ben Wallace who was on the Bulls that year and they didn't have the coach that had them win the championship. They had a washed Chris Webber playing center
@binoisonfire6 жыл бұрын
How was this not a good team they made it to ecf every year in the mid 2000s.
@eazyduzit-tr3nx6 жыл бұрын
rollon babe The East has been weak since Michael’s second retirement, this yr in 07 LBJ played two .500 teams. That’s with Wizards missing Arenas/Butler, this Pistons team was not the same team from those back to back finals appearance teams. Ben Wallace was not there and Larry Brown was gone. Flip was there (R.I.P.) but that team lost a few playoff series in which they had HCA. L3/6ron fans act like these were the Pistons from 04 but they were far from that, another thing they do is they act like they were comparable to the Bad Boy Pistons in the late 80’s/early 90’s when they weren’t. Any great player would’ve taken that top 4 Cavs defense to the finals with that weak conference there. The talking heads on tv who ride LBJ hard would tell you otherwise though bc, well...you know.
@SomeGuyNotKnown6 жыл бұрын
Steph Curry The G.O.A.T The Pistons this year only dropped 2 spots offensively and defensively without Ben Wallace. They were worse, but not by that much.

LeBron, Kobe, Drose were like the best 22 year olds I've ever seen lol all 3 were MVP potentials at a young age (even tho Drose did win 1)
@Positive_energy4u6 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't put a 22yr old kobe in that category . He didn't carry his team like the other two did. (Shaq did). eventhough he was definitely talented at the time, he didn't compare to what Lebron and Rose were doing during that age. Those two singlehandedly willed their teams night in and night out
@abualzuaree6 жыл бұрын
Manny P Kobe at 22 averaged 30/7/6 in the playoffs ALONG SIDE Shaq, what #2 option does that? Also kobe was an MVP candidate during the 2000-2001 season and averaged 28pts that season with shaq lol who are we to say Kobe wouldn't be more dominate if Shaq wasn't there? He did prove that he can win without Shaq.. people forget just how great young Kobe was all because Shaq took the spotlight
@Positive_energy4u6 жыл бұрын
Like I said, he was a great young talent but not as nearly as good as young Rose or Lebron. As far as his stats, he was getting a lot of easy baskets due to the fact that Shaq was constantly double teamed. I'll give him props for stepping up in the playoffs but he didn't have to expend a lot of energy in the regular season CARRYING his team like Lebron and Rose did. As far him winning without Shaq, sure but guess what, he never got past the first round untill Gasol there. Rose and Lebron BOTH led their teams to top records without another ALL-NBA teammate (Lebron 2009, 2010) and (Rose 2011) . In the yrs that Shaq left and Kobe didn;t have gasol, he missed the playoffs entirely and was bounced out the first round 2 times.
@abualzuaree6 жыл бұрын
Manny P yeah Kobe never got passed the 1sst round BUT once 1 all-star got there, he had another 3 peat to the finals and won 2 IN THE WEST... gotta give him credit and I've always said Kobe and Shaq were an equal offensive duo, with Kobe getting more touches against the Western Conference teams. However, in the finals, Shaq had serious advantages over Mutombo (34 years), Smits, and MacCulloch (Mutombo's 2001 Backup) . And so in the Finals, Shaq was essentially allowed to roam free (Usage Rates at 34.5%, 33.5%, 36.0%) on offense, with little work to do against his man while Kobe had tough opponents (Allen Iverson, etc)
@qceaz116 жыл бұрын

Jason Miller no i don’t see him play but I know that his not 3-6 in the finals that in his rookie year he wins the title and than after his retirement the Celtics waiting two years before winning another title.
