And he'll forever be mentioned in the same tier as Michael Jordan. GOAT level status. #BlackMambaForever 🙏🏿

Ah starbury. This was just usual back then. I've seen Luke Walton and Kobe scored 81 pts in 1 game in 2006 as well.

As a Chicago native, I didn't like it either. Copy MJ moves is one thing but Kobe went to far. Be your own person.

"Imitation is the highest form of flattery." Kobe was inspired by MJ & even surpassed him as far as I'm concerned. Kobe was MJ+ some! MJ had more help.

Thunder-Spurs faced each other in 3 tough playoff series in 2012-2014-2016 All 3 series went 6 games = 2 series were won by Thunder (2012 and 2016) and Spurs won the 2014 one All three series, after 4 games, were tied at 2-2 Shame that none went to 7 games 2012 West Finals, 2014 West Finals, 2016 Second Round

Doesnt mean you have to emulate a person's every move. You can be the best ever and still keep your own identity.

Dwight almost broke the goal like Shaq this series. I think the shot clock shook or got tilted something like that. It's a highlight on KZbin.

How many 3 pts..and 2 points very close to the 3 point line. I do remember him! Walking back from school in 6th grade @ 11 years old with a hot sun and Walking for 15 minutes along talking with my buddy about the NBA. Arrive to home and dress very quick to play basketball outside and keep talking about the same😅

Kobe was fully aware that MJ, at that time and still today, was the best to ever play the game. Kobe wanted to be the best or at least the best version of himself. Kobe, especially for a kid straight out of high school, was wise beyond his years. He humbled himself, and learned from the best and then Kobe himself amazed us all and became the, in my opinion) #2 all-time greatest.. thats such a big deal....and to me, one of the most endearing stories ever to come out of the NBA.
