@@hesch-tag agreed, though there is a magic to Satch's playing, he does amazing things with his somewhat limited technique, also, his compositions alone have probably inspired more players to pick up the guitar than anyone else. Still though, lots of much better players, technically speaking, yes.

I prefer Andy Timmons because although he has similarities, he just has more variety in his playing. Joe's playing has become so predictable to me. But he certainly has had a huge impact and some very good albums.
