If you have Wildcraft: Trees and Shrubs, you can break leaves of certain trees like Birch (being the most common) and get "cane" as one of the drops. You can turn the cane into hand baskets, and storage baskets. You used to be able to do that with some of the sedge, but not sure if it was nerfed or subverted for another use, like the tule.

@@wizardsworld1152 Originally, I avoided it, too, but it's grown on me because of how useful all the little "extras" have become. Plus, a wider range in wood (color) decor.

@@Sarafimm2 yeah, extra wood is nice. I have a mod in this pack that will allow me to dye planks, and I'm eager to get into that. It should add a whole world of color to VS
