Man, I don't think I've seen a Pokemon TCG Pocket tournament before in my entire life, and let me tell you - that was awesome! Everybody was playing so well, especially with that final match going to a game three, and only decided by a coin flip(which, let's be honest, it's a game of 50/50 - if you flip just one talis, it's over), that might have been the craziest finale to a TCG game that I've ever seen! I'd love to see more of these tournament in Pocket with you and the other boys, Vinny - this has potential to become a new source of content for your channel :D

"meowth is under rated" ive seen Meowth in 8/12 decks on random online matches i had yesterday

yeah ngl the big issue in the game is getting the cards your deck is centered around etc. having a pikachu ex deck is all good but if they happen to be in the last few cards then youre screwed. i do feel like their will be a "pick a basic card from your deck" either support card or pokemon ability for this reason. ive had several times where ive ran a charizard deck and gotten both charizard and a charmeleon on first hand. didnt pull either of the charmanders for like 8 turns. meowth is really a great card for early game if you dont pull what you need straight away. it can genuinely mean the difference in a lot of games. what i tend to do, is actually add fodder cards in. find a basic card, with crazy high hp for example. it doesnt even matter on its type too much. that way if you dont end up pulling what you need, you can use the fodder card simply to stall for an extra turn or two, which can also mean the difference.

4:20 I'm a first time TCG player that started Pocket a couple days ago and my first water deck on limited resources is Lapras-Misty with some Frosmoth to stall. I mostly built it to celebrate getting super lucky with full arts of both Lapras and Misty. I have so far gotten 1 energy out of 6 uses of Misty and I'm losing faith.
