Anybody who buys and flips cars just to have a new ride is throwing their money down a rathole, as far as I can see. I want my money. Nicely done. It's a good solution when you're only using the car for family trips on the weekend or holidays and using bikes and public transit to get to work/school during the week. That's also a nice car to invest this kind of money on. The zen is a fun car to drive and lasts a really, really long time. I'd be worried about the wear to the suspension, tires and parking brake though. Ideally you'd be able to modify your staircase so the car doesn't need to go up an incline. The other option is to use a jack to raise the rear end instead of driving up. It's a very light car so even a lightweight hydraulic jack should be able to do the job. They are quite cheap here in the US.

I was thinking the same. Getting the car in and out would be so much faster and with much less danger of denting it against the tree or the house. It would be really smart if you have the space. And the little engine that moves the under-body, maybe you can run it by a simple remote control so you don't have to go back and forth to the switch on the wall to move it in and out.

Well the streets look relatively empty now. And what if the front of his house gets blocked by another vehicle? He would have to have a precise amount of space to get his car between the tree onto the sidewalk. In case you didn't know, James Bond doesn't invent all the cool gadgets he has. Some poor, underappreciated soul does that for him. He is just cool enough to use the gadgets he has, not smart enough to invent them. Cool reference though.

I'm the kind of person who would build the EXACT same solution. 😁 The disadvantage is the excessive wear on the clutch going up the ramp in reverse.
@DM-ps4ug3 жыл бұрын
that's a minor thing compared to how much clutch wear occurs in traffic
@XB100013 жыл бұрын
@@DM-ps4ug Reverse is much worse, especially uphill. In traffic it's only on first gear, and you can get by maintaining momentum (beat you can). You can rev match for other gears. Reverse gear ratios are not very favourable.

He can put some barrier on front tyres to stop car from rolling so that all the load don't come on handbrake because he has put car on slide and handbrake will in use for allt he time many car brake failed de to long use as they used to park on slide with handbrake no brick on tyres that's why many people use bricks even after using brake I have heard stories that all brakes failed while driving because mechanism is connected of brakes I may be wrong but he can use something because he is so good engineer
