Could roll off lift gate or any other number of problems. Also they wouldn’t load car on a road that leads directly to highway. Too much potential for accident while loading. You made a bunch of mistakes . Next time ask for a SINGLE car hauler, have car loaded in am, and don’t leave your vehicle until it’s secured and locked/loaded in trailer.

In the winter of 2010/11 a mother and five kids disappeared in an alleged carjacking. I had the idea what if the SUV had OnStar. I called Upper Southampton Police Department and told them basically to call GM and have them activate the OnStar. They told me I’m sure our detectives have already thought of that. I said bullshit if they had, you’d already have the vehicle. That police officer was so ignorant. I just told him look asshole do it and hung up. Within an hour, it was on the news the SUV was recovered in Philadelphia with the help of a local GM dealership. In the SUV was airline receipts. The mom split with her five kids and went to Disney World. It was all because of a messy divorce/custody situation. So Mercedes basically decided to not help you recover your car. Probably just so they could sell you another one. If the vehicle came with tracking software, it can be easily activated by any dealership.

Below the company says "Also that day I was contacted by a 3rd party offering to pay a ransom to recover the car. Long story short, a few days later we picked the car up at a dealer in Atlanta and shipped it to the dealer who purchased it in California." That makes no sense. You picked up a STOLEN car from a DEALERSHIP? How does that happen? What dealership is going to accept a stolen car in trade or an outright sale? With no tags and no title. Call me a skeptic, but there is more to this story.
