Nice stuff Joe. Looks like the Berry LP is an '87 reissue. The blue label that is. As far as the writing on the back cover of the other Berry... at least it's not a FRASCA. Lol

The Chicago, Cher and Police are the perfect comps for the casual fan. And oh man I had an extra copy that Stevie Nicks I could've sent you and I ended up selling it used.

HI Joe, You got a lot of gems there. I am a big Cher/Sonny And Cher fan also and like you, I have a lot of their music and I have that CD you bought and it is great. A fan of Chuck Berry also. and I have never seen those titles. I am not a huge Chicago fan, but I do like a lot of their songs. And the CD you bought seems very interesting. Enjoy them and take care

These are good selections. I'll have to listen to "Fresh Berrys," for I've never heard it. I've got the Chicago compilation, and it's very good. Years ago, I lent my copy of "Hotel California" to a friend, who never returned it, and years later I found a perfect-condition LP of it at a thrift shop for one dollar! In the photo of Leslie Gore on the back cover, and the gatefold shot of her in the checkered blouse, she looks a little to me like Gillian Anderson of "The X Files."

hi joe, great vinyl and cd finds once again! those chuck berry lps look really cool and in super condition. i dont really have any original chess lps by him though, mine are reissues on cd. lesley gore is my favorite female singer and i have that australian lp as well, a great compilation of her stuff. always fun to see what your latest finds are joe, thanks for sharing once again, take care, rob

Louise Goffin All I've Got To Do is pretty good. I use to play in a band where we use to change up Beatles songs similar to what Louise did.

Hey Joe... I'm glad you picked up that Police comp. I love the band and hopefully it will prompt you to get their individual albums. They have a lot of great deep cuts... That Louise Goffin album is a interesting find, I'll have to check that one out.

Sounded great, played Side One at the store (13 songs). Don't think any songs were cut that I know... after all, they're all short.

I didn't use to put albums in the back either, but i find myself doing it more accessible is nice, and like you have said before, you dont have to jam the record in the sleeve.. also really enjoy Lesley Gore have 4 of her albums

Joe, The 50's Albums were mastered and engineered with Awesome sound. Case in point The RCA Living Stereo Recordings. Listen to Elvis in Back in true Living Stereo. Music to your ears. Pure Raw sound. Awesome Chuck Berry Joe, Got to Love it.

I don't care for The Police much, either. Probably all the Bo Diddley and Chicago you need. Amazing Chuck Berry pickups. I think I have that Louise Goffin record, but never listened to it. What a great Leslie Gore comp.

Looks like decent 90’s compilations from Chicago, the Police and Cher. I still don’t own one Chuck Berry album. I guess “Ding A Ling” really turned me off into owning any of his material.

“Fresh Berrys” is a lost gem of Chuck’s discography. “It Wasn’t Me”, the lead off track, was later covered by George Thorogood and the Destroyers. As for Bo Diddley, Joe, look for his album from that same year titled “500% More Man”. That one is a scorcher start to finish. I’m really tired of hearing that the 50’s artists “had nothing to say” during the Beatles & British Invasion. It’s a huge crock of you-know-what.
