Vinyl community 2 jazz box sets Charlie Parker and lee Morgan

Both boxes look great. Tons of wonderful music. I agree about the blank album side 4 - seems like Blue Note could have commissioned a couple songs for that side. Seems like they could have stuck some art on the cover of that 10" too. oh well... Sweet Honey Bee! One of my favorite jazz instrumentals - I've never understood why it hasn't become sort of a "jazz standard' that lots of people play. Looks like your video got cut off before you got to that part. Thanks for showing the records!

George, I just got in that new Miles Davis box set of his bootleg recording 63-64. Have not had a chance to play it. Parker would be a great listen. You look cold my friend

That Truly Madly Deep-Lee set looks amazing George. Now did you say that it was never before released on vinyl? I have heard Sonic Boom and it is a superb album. One of Lee's best in my humble opinion. You never disappoint G~ Rob/Boston

Hi rob yes sonic boom was released in 79 I have a copy. Was saying the music in the box won’t get another release I think.

That set looks pretty cool, thanks for showing us. But that blank album side is weird. It kind of makes you feel like you got cheated a little bit. But It's still a great box.
