Very cool Mobley Turnaround. Never seen that one in person. Love the variety of records here. And I agree about the Petty box. Think you made the right choice. Congrats on the Dodgers and this is coming from a life long SF Giants fan 😎⚾️✌🏻

I was completely happy with my decision to sell the TP set. It just wasn’t worth it. It was an amazing night and may have saved my 2020. My whole Dad’s side of the family are Giants fans. They are no longer my most hated team as the Astros have now filled that slot. Take care Mazzy!

Looks like you got some fun, diverse stuff. Jealous of the Mobley and congrats on the cheap Crue! Nice score. Noticed you’re at the magical sub number of 666. Enjoy the spins 😎

I didn’t even notice about the 666...maybe I should do a contest. The Crue plays great and was the one I needed to close out the discography.

Some great finds bro. L.A. did it dirty dirty this year with the double championship wins.... loved it. -TONE P.S. I wouold have sold that TP box set with all the misc. extras as well... ridiculous price for almost nothing extra. Looking to get the box version that you have.

It was an awesome year for LA sports for sure Tone! I just couldn’t justify the price difference on that TP set for a bracelet. Take care!

Wow! Lots of cool music Chris. I picked up the Petty 7 LP box and I really dig all of the content. I also have those two new UME Coltrane reissues. It’s a good time to for me to explore Jazz with all of the great all analog titles being released.

There are some great pressings coming out for sure. The new Blue Note classic pressings will be huge for getting people into jazz. Hope all is well...take care!

Hey there Chris. That Cage Meets Sun Ra looks cool. I really like the cover because you never see candid shots of Sunny. What's crazy is I never knew that Tom Petty made solo albums. Why? I can see if its a solo acoustically performed album with no backup musicians. But if you are release an album with other musicians why not use the band you have been playing with all along? Throwing them a bone so to speak. Did you see the Eddie Vedder interview on Howard Stern? It was fantastic. Love the Black Jazz label. What genre of jazz does Rudolph Johnson play? Excellent pickups once again Chris. Top notch~ Rob/Boston

I’m not sure why he did the solo albums but used a lot of the Heartbreakers. I listened to the whole Vedder interview and it was great. So talented and just an amazing person. Hope all is well.
