I just received Sault's 'Rise' and it came with seam splits on the top. I wouldn't mind but it cost me $60 with shipping. I really dig that International Anthem label. I am still listening to the Irreversible Entanglements album "Who Sent You". I think that they release sample pressings too. Nice Grant Green grab. All superb pressings once again Chris. Can't remember watching one of your videos when I did not add some some of them to my VC want list notebook. Husker Du. "Dead Set On Destruction' is one of my all time favorite HD songs. I saw them when they were kids at the Channel in South Boston. It was an afternoon all ages show if I remember right. Those were the days~ Rob/Boston

I think Glasshouse is taking appointments again starting this week. I would like to go for a dig there myself. Open Sky is very enjoyable and can be had on the cheap. Take care!

Man, these Tone Poets are going to break me! Love Rajah, but actually prefer the Paul Chambers TP that came out the same day, and LOVE the Tina Brooks LP most of all. Glad you were able to give that Kirk album a new home, that's what it's all about. And I too sent back my Palo Alto due to major warping issues! Finally got a good copy and love it. Lastly, don't know if you're aware of the Jazz Dispensary but they've put out some killer jazz/funk comps! Been on heavy rotation in my home for months. Hard to get them off the turntable!

The tone poets and BN 80’s are coming out like 2 or 3 per month for the rest of the year. Lots of money!!! I’ve heard of Jazz Dispensary but haven’t actually heard it. Thanks again for the Kirk...really enjoyed!

I've had it with the seam splits too. I'd guess that about 15% of new albums come with some form of splits. Some of the smaller labels are the worst with packaging but what can you do...a lot of times it's the best option for getting the album and you're stuck with what you get unfortunately.

I’d say that 15% is pretty accurate. I always send back the ones I get from Amazon/ Walmart but like you say the smaller labels sell out and that’s it. Some will give me a refund but have nothing else to send me. Unfortunate problem in the record world. Thanks for watching!

I’ve never been to any of the 3 stores actually. I really hadn’t heard of them until the pandemic started and they started selling on Instagram. I come to California often so once this is all over I plan on visiting them for sure. I will add Zoinks to the list...thanks!

weezer new is solid - like the move to add strings etc -the strings give a nod to ELO i think
