Awesome, thanks Josh! Quick question....I have the Titan1 28 inch. Would I be able to use contour cutting for text if I wanted to cut and layer two different colors of vinyl in order to give the words an "outline"? For example, in a black shirt, I want to put down a layer of white text then layer on top of that some blue text that is just slight smaller in order to give it a white outline? OR...is there an easier way to do this? Does that make sense? I've tried adjusting the size of the font, etc... but when I line up the text on one side the other side is off. I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong but I can't figure it out. Also, I had been using VM Cut previously but just upgraded to LTR last night. Thanks!

Actually, as I watched the video a little further you got the the "Outline" tool. I think that is kinda what I asking about. Is that correct? I want to give the text an outline around it then cut and layer two different colors of vinyl in order to achieve it, right?

The outline tool would be the best bet. Make sure to set the outline to a different color and check the cut by color box in the "Send To be Cut" pop up and then select each color to send to the spooler individually. Also glad to hear that you can put the arch text on the top and bottom. I still can't in my version so I will have to get with VM and see what is going on!

why does my vinylmaster cut 4.2 not have the "vectorize button" every tutorial i watch has different buttons then mine

You need to have an item selected that can be vectorized. Drag and a .png file , jpg, or jpeg file into vinyl master and then select it. You will see the vectorize button appear in the dynamic tool bar.

vinylmaster looks and works like coreldraw...is vinylmaster built on corel...?

No they are separate. Corel Draw is a Canadian and Vinyl Master is Australian. I guess the layout was a winner for vector design!

Im having difficulty with separating drop shadow objects by color to send to the cutter. When i try to click on the base text (forward) it remains attached to the drop shadow. So several layers remain highlighted in the layers column. I tried ungroup and that simply removes the drop shadow. Help! Thank you for the videos!

I think is not possible to detach the drop shadow from object.

I was wondering what the difference between DSR and XPT was. At my school we have a vinyl cutter that uses XPT 4.0 and I was looking for a cutter for myself that uses the same software (XPT 4.0) and all I've found so far are cutters with DSR.

hey. bud. great video. I need some help. I'm using the sample vinyl that came with my us cutter and I cant get good cuts. everything comes up when I peel off vinyl before weeding. it seems like the vinyl is cheep and is not very sticky. would oracle 651 make a huge difference? I think I have my needle set pretty good. just doesnt seem to want to stay on vinyl when I peel it off. any help would be appreciated

How is it coming up? Like is it coming up around the blade while cutting? Or when you or weeding away stuff everything else keeps coming up with it? Also what type of machine are you using ?

@@uscuttervideos the detailed stuff is coming up while cutting in some parts. and when I tear the outside vinyl off before I weed a lot of the image doesnt stay on vinyl backing.
