That's the most impressive music room setup I've ever seen in someone's residence, and it also puts most music stores to shame as well. It's so well organized and so clean. I just about tapped out when you showed the cleaning station room. I mean, it's just too perfect. Very cool space and setup you have there. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go find a neighbor that can make me a bunch of shelving units.

You absolutely could not have found a better basement (assuming it is a basement) layout for such a music collection (or museum rather). As opposed to just being one open big open square room, you have some directions to it which gives you that depth for such displays. That room is what any collector wished they could have ;). And too, just seeing the step to your stair in that far end, what a perfect way to walk down into that room and escape from the world up top. Looks truly wonderful, that cleaning miscellaneous room is perfect too. You lucked out with a good neighbor to help you with that shelving!

Thanks my friend!! Yeah, I've had a number so different style rooms and each have had their pros and cons. I used to live in a loft where the main room was just one huge big room. I loved that I had more flexibility with creativity in that one, but this one is awesome too. I just feel like if you give me any empty room no matter how big or small I'll figure out how to make that thing a musical heaven LOL

Not speaking of myself, but I feel that EXACT same way. I hear sooooo many people say "I listen to everything" but when you dive in....just because you like 1 Sade song outside of pop music doesn't mean you like "everything" lol. Not that I bash it because there is no wrong way to like music and I support anything people choose to or not to listen to. You dig what you dig and that is all that matters. It just sometimes it starts to seem like saying "I listen to everything" is the cool thing to say and used that way.

So many times when I'm chilling in the room and listening to music I will find myself staring at a corner or shelf and just wondering what would make that space more enjoyable and just start up with all kinds of ideas. Well since you asked what do I think you better have really good insurance 💰 that's the most music I've ever seen in anybody's collection but how is it possible for you to listen to all of that music. If I had that collection I would never listen to the same thing twice for the rest of my life 🎶✌️

Ha ha! Thanks for watching my friend I do have it insured. Outside of the Home owners personal property limits I also have a policy with State Farm that is specifically for vinyl records. Two rules that I do have is 1. I never keep anything I don't actually like. 2. I never put a record into my collection without listening to every single song on it. Now how frequently I go back to which albums can vary of course, but I've listened to every single piece. :)

The shelves are 7 feet tall. 13 rows each which are 6x6x24 inches so holds cds and cassettes well. For the cassette rows I put a piece of 1 inch foam pipe insulation behind them so they don't sit to deep.
