WOW!!What a beautiful place to relax and listen to great music. Some observations: 1. Im glad to see linda Ronstadt’s Greatest Hits sitting next time your system on the floor. ( I’m a big fan)2. The HPM Pioneer Series speakers. I have them too. Just mine are the 40’s. 3). I have a Sanui 331 receiver. Live the room. Thanks for the tour.

Can’t Believe you found that clean a copy of Boogie Boys! The Heavy D is dope as well. Had both those cassettes in HS. Yeah sorry man. Dumb comment. Thanks for another cool video as always ✌🏻

No problem man. That is one thing that is kind of hard about touching base with so many different people in the VC. It can be hard to always know how other people are "interacting" with their channel/ internet time and such. I usually try to leave a thumbs up and heart to let each person know read their comment. I guess I don't think about reply comments that much because I never expect the when I leave comments so it didn't register with me. I do truly appreciate ya my friend. BTW, if you want the other copy of that Boogie Boys?....it's all yours!!! \m/

Aww Thanks Man! I don’t like to get Anything for Nothing, so if you’re still looking for that Best of OMD, I have an extra near mint (inside and out) copy. Let me know how to hook up for trade. Thanks again my friend

I got the new Ghost: Rite Here Rite Now. That's how you do a vinyl release. Polylined inner sleeves, 16 page booklet and huge poster. They really use the lp format wisely. Other than that I have been picking up mostly old punk albums. Poison Ruin, NoMeansNo, Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers, No Trend, Germs, Poison Idea, Big Black, Talking Heads, Subhumans and The Birthday Party. I do really like first two Bad Company albums. I also found this great cd box set from Mott The Hoople. Mental Train (The Island Years • 1969-1971). Really enjoy your channel. Cheers from Finland!

Is there a qualification on condition a record has to have (vinyl and jacket) in order to make it into your collection?
@mrhoffame7 күн бұрын
OHhhhhhh yes!! Big Time. LOL. I went through my collection about 8-9 years ago and got rid of everything that was not in fantastic condition. Purged about 500 or so records. Now I'm BEYOND picky with every piece I bring in. I like the feeling of when I go to grab 95% of any record in my collection it is going to be in fantastic shape and play, in the dead wax, as quite as a cd. I pass on a lot of stuff due to that criteria because I always feel and EX to NM one will come around eventually.
@PJHVols6 күн бұрын
@@mrhoffame yep I think I’m at that phase of my journey too lol. But what happens when you order from the mail and it comes dinged. Return?

I don't know if you ever heard of Chicago born Megan McDonough, who later changed her name to Megon McDonough. She had a great debut album titled "In The Megan Manner" I think on Wooden Nickle Records around 1972. i saw her live at Loyola University while I was attending in 1977. Her album had a nice blurb by John Denver touting her talent. Just thought I'd mention it. As an aside, have you ever heard any stuff by Justin Hayward?
@mrhoffame7 күн бұрын
I feel like I have run across that name before, but it's not totally ringing a bell. Will certainly have to check her out! \m/

FYI-The Jimi Hendrix Experience is listed under H because its the dudes name. Same reason Michael Schenker Group is listed under S and not G & Pat Travers Band is listed under T & not B. My list this second would be Aerosmith-Rocks. Secret Treaties-Blue Oyster Cult. Billion Dollar Babies-Alice Cooper. Holy Diver-Dio. Bonded By Blood-Exodus. No Exit-Fates Warning. Irish Tour ''74-Rory Gallagher. Are You Experienced-The Jimi Hendrix Experience. 7th Son Of A 7th Son-Iron Maiden. Unleashed In The East-Judas Priest. Abigail-King Diamond. Physical Graffiti-Led Zeppelin. Rust In Peace-Megadeth. Double Live Gonzo-Ted Nugent. The Years Of Decay-Overkill. The Wall-Pink Floyd. Operation Mindcrime-Queensryche. Rising-Rainbow. Reign In Blood-Slayer. Bridge Of Sighs-Robin Trower. Strangers In The Night-UFO. Fair Warning-Van Halen. And Live-Johnny Winter. Los Angeles-X. Yesterday & Today-Yesterday & Today(Now just known as Y&T). ZZ Top's First Album-ZZ Top

@coolguy-wolf12 күн бұрын
An amazing list of Spins. Duke is a great album. Aerosmith Permanent Vacation has a lot of great songs on it. You never can go wrong with any David Bowie Album. I agree with you, Brandon. When it comes to Allman Brothers Album Idlewild South that's a top-notch Southern rock album. You can never go on with Linda Ronstadt. I call her the Queen of Music. She could sing any song and it was always amazing. I haven't found any song from Linda Ronstadt I haven't liked. I don't think I ever will. Linda was so talented. Joe Cocker was also amazing that guy could sing. Every album you showed is just magic. With all that music you never can go wrong. Keep enjoying that amazing music Brandon !!!

I noticed a Quadrophonic recording of Sly and the Family Stone. Do you have a quad setup? Also, do you organize those according to your usual method, or do you separate the quads differently?

Nah, I don't have a quad set up. I only have 3 of those quads so no individual sections for those ....but clearly you know how I think LOL>

Black Sabbath is my favorite band but I have never liked Never Say Die & I've tried since it came out in 1978. I saw their concert at the San Diego Sports Arena on Dec.3, 1978 when Van Halen blew my beloved Sabs off the stage. It was Ozzy's 30th birthday and he was a mess that night.

Great video. I would recommend a "new" rock band that's actually been around for 10 years but they're just starting to get recognition. The band is called The Warning and they just released their 4th album titled 'Keep Me Fed' on 06/28. If you like Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless and Dorothy then The Warning is a must listen.
