Well, it was good we didn’t argue about Beatles vs Stones on thanksgiving 😳😎. Great choices. Yes on Leonard Cohen for lyrics. Please to Meet You, happy you’re here sir❤️🔥

Hi Todd, I also go to Tim And Pleased to meet me from the Replacements for my two favorites. They are both incredible. A wonderful tag. Thank you so much for the shout out. It made my day! Happy Holidays! Cheers☘️

Thanks for the mention! I will try to live up to your compliments. I like the way the records appear behind you, it's an interesting approach that i haven't seen before. I will most likely be doing one of these tags in January and "Purple Rain" is probably the 80's album that best represents an 80's album that In never tire of. I just really started listening to the Replacements this year and have been missing out.

Hi Todd. New to your channel and just subbed. R.E.M. Great band! Yes on The Replacements. That one is my favorite by them! Wish I would have included that in my vinyl tag. Great video. Looking forward to watching more content.

Yes, Tower of Song has such wonderful lyrics. I often think about that Hank Williams line, too. Thanks for your videos this year, I really enjoyed them! Thanks also for mentioning Amity Tracks, and it's good to know he might be coming back, as I miss his knowledgeable and often very amusing videos. I hope he is well.

@@suartgilmour4540 Thanks! I sometimes wonder who else would be in Leonard Cohen’s Tower of Song. Yeah, I’m hoping we see AT again soon.

I found your picks both thoughtful and musically educational. Where Are You, Jay Bennett? was a great find; I'll be seeking out a version of the documentary (I think I found it). Cheers!

@ This is what I like about the KZbin music community. The sharing of love for music. As for the documentary, it truly does serve as not only a warranted homage to Jay, but it is a needed and overdue counterpoint to the Sam Jones Wilco documentary. I don’t like to get into the Jeff vs Jay drama because it doesn’t serve the music. Two brilliant music minds hitting an unfortunate impasse. It happens all the time in music. Incidentally, I listened to Cruel Country for the first time the other day (yeah, a bit late getting to the more recent albums), and it’s amazing. Jeff has that magic, intangible thing that few songwriters have. Reminds of that lucid Dylan interview on 60 Minutes years ago, when he said, “I don’t know how I wrote those songs,” saying it was something bigger than him, akin to magic. You have a good holiday season and I’ll catch up with your happenings here in the New Year.

Need to check out the Jay Bennett, loved Wilco during that era but never listened to his solo work. Sinead is a great choice. Massey Hall is another great choice. Love Please To Meet Me. Great video.

Sinead O’Connor is a great choice for missed artist. Syd Barrett is a bad choice. Schizophrenia would be terrible with or without LSD.
@lostmixtapes22 күн бұрын
@@vinylrichie007 I was assuming I could bypass that part. Did he actually have Schizophrenia?
@vinylrichie00722 күн бұрын
@ Yes he was diagnosed with schizophrenia. I already shot my video. We picked the same record for one question. If you could alter the actual history I would want to be reincarnated as Elvis. I would embrace the hippies, drop LSD and make Psychedelic music instead of crappy movies.
@lostmixtapes22 күн бұрын
@ I thought about Elvis too. I would ditch the Colonel pretty early on.
