Hey guys. So I finally got around to building some robots and automatrons and I think I've got the Ultimate Melee Build for your
Automatrons. My Robot Build can kill a mythic deathclaw by itself and you only need to be level 29 or so in order to craft it!
I also have another version that can kill mythic deathclaws on survival mode as well! As always, if you liked this video leave a like and let me know what you think of my Best Automatron Build in Fallout 4!

Curie doesn't scale with your level. In her first form, she has high health until around level 50. Beyond that, Codsworth is the optimal robot. In fact, it's a good idea to turn her into a bare bones protectron before upgrading her into her second form, so that you have some spare Mr Handy parts. In her second form, her health is high until around level 100, can use weapons meant for humans, and can enter power armor.

I've been a fan of Dual-Automatic lasers and Assaultron legs. Dual-Automatic lasers fire immediately, and will regularly annihilate enemies as soon as they appear, and those dainty assaultron legs are really good at moving in any terrain, including indoors!

Try using a robobrain torso, that way you'll be able to put on Ahab's helm. (I believe that's what it's called) Every attack won't just make them bleed but also burn. I tested it out on a mythic deathclaw on survival difficulty, and the death claw was only able to get 1-4 hits in.

I disagree with the mr handy torso; If you equip your robot with the assaultron head laser and upgrade the damage it can kill a queen mirelurk in 1 hit of it's laser on hard difficulty

Thanks a lot for this build, I tested mine against a Deathskull Scorpion, Mythic Deathclaw, Dusky Yao Guai, Venomous Angler, Enranged Fog Crawler, and Ancient Behemoth. It managed to handle all of them in a row with my help, and not die or require repair. The Behemoth and Yao Guai gave it some trouble from staggering tho.

I created a pack bot it is called: *Drum roll* Pack-Bot.TaaDaa! Anyway it's a sentry boy with all hydraulic armor except for the back armor witch is voltaic armor (Giving it all voltaic armor would give it the best carry weight but it just doesn't look right, so I just put It on the back) it has a robobrain head for accuracy and range and for weapon: two stable mini guns

I prefer a full Assaultron build. I'm a huge fan of 'em. You don't have to build one from scratch, cuz from the start of the DLC we've already got one: Ada. I gave her Assaultron arms, standard storage plating, a head laser, and dual Shishkebab blades, imo that's the best build I'd say so far.

I made my own personalized Deathtrap from the Gaige's Mechromancer in Borderlands 2. Looks awesome, has high defence and carry weight, and fights like Deathrap with the assaultron head, right hand laser, and a left hand construction mod. I also use the Nuka Cola Pack variant of the handmade rifle that I renamed "The Rigerous Ogre".

Good video, I will definitely try this out. In my playthroughs, I've used full on ranged explosive damage sentry bot with cluster bombs and missle launcher/gatling lazer and everything and it's crazy strong for crowd controlling even high level enemies. Just make sure you get the perk that prevents companions from dealing you damage.

Honestly this doc is great imo. Expecally for me cuz I'm doing a gunner playable and this doc makes it so much better. I camp out on the bridge at grey garden. And of course a few gunner mission mods.

Try the sentry bot head with the carnage helmet and two gatling lasers. The head might not be as accurate as a robobrain, but the helmet gives each shot a chance to insta-kill anything it hits no matter how tough it is, and since the gatling lasers fire so quickly, the effect will always activate on every enemy that doesn't die in the first few hits. My Codsworth has made countless mirelurk queens, deathclaws, and behemoths collapse in a pile of gore before i could aim my gun. Btw, I noticed that shoulder launchers make my robots only use one arm weapon at a time (mainly left arm), so i shy away from shoulder weapons, but still prefer the sentry torso for sheer health.

Very nice build! I think I’ll make one in my next playthrough, with all hydraulic armor except for the arms. The arms will have serrated warmonger armor or whatever it’s called. The one that increases melee damage.

Honestly I just smack my bots with that one sentry head that has a chance to instantly blow-up heads and then dual equip the cryo-guns on each hand. Pops off heads left and right.

I went with Sentry arms and torso, robobrain head for accuracy, assaultron legs for fast running, giving him some edge for long distance damage and then good health and armour for melee. Armed with high speed rotating gun, saw hammer, quad missile launchers on shoulders

Another thing I noticed while testing legs is that the mr handy legs and assaultron legs cause melee weapons to do multiple hits. Ranging from 3-5. With the sentry legs it was much lower. the advantage of the sentry legs though is that sentries change at enemies.

I know the Sentry Torso overheats, but with the assaultron legs and arms and head, having those mini nukes getting tossed around as it charges them with those wonderful hammersaws is just 100% overkill.. Yes they break, but they dont break everything else and do so uncommonly enough that they are more than worth it. the Assaultron head of course is also a wonder damage boost and is lethal on its own usually... picking the speed boost for the assaultron legs is also a good bonus.

I modded Codsworth into a monster. He can carry stuff and heal my HP when I stand next to him while not in combat. If I want to have fun testing weapon combos now, I have to park him in a safe place or he just takes over combat and mows down everything. He can't take on a pack of burnt ghouls or a lot of gunners by himself but that is part of the fun. I am going to work on the companion perk that ups his damage next. He will be unstoppable.

For a more ideal Survival Version or Mark 3, I would suggest using Spiked armour with Bags for Better carry weight and Regeneration Coils and if you want it to Filter water Modify Codsworth into these.

My build for ada is assaultron torso, sentry head, stealth blades, sentry arms, and mr handy legs ( mr handy legs gives a unique attack that will do multiple hits of damage that kills a mythic deathclaw in seconds)

I tried putting a Mr.Handy thruster with all the additional thruster arms and bleed armor to further increase its effectiveness only to be disappointed by the fact that the hammer saws never get used only the thruster arms do like wtf

I don't personally like my automatrons to be too powerful, because if they are then they tend to steal my kills and rob me of that sweet, sweet XP. I outfitted my automatron with a a shiskebab, an assaultron shock claw, and a head laser. I gave her bleed-armor for Her arms but put a rad-dumper on Her back. It's a good, balanced build for general adventuring: She deals a substantial--but not overpowering--amount of damage, can carry a fair bit of gear, and is well suited for both melee and ranged combat.

u could put captain Arabs helm to put fire damage also an assuatron with Mr handy thruster with stealth blades are the best enemy's have hard time hitting it and it has a high DPS

Melee robots seemed bugged for me. Stand around and don’t attack most of the time, especially inside. Codsworth melee is completely useless. The ranged config works best for me, even with codsworth

Best build is a sentry bot legs arms and body Assaultron head laser mini gun rocket launcher ( would put unstable but breaks a lot) but I would also put unstable gas bombs and fat man launcher it's a great build and I suggest a hacking module( or what u like I can't hack) and any armor but have a good carry weight mine wrecks everything

I can confirm you can alter Curie, however after her little side quest her robot body becomes obsolete so there isn’t any point in doing it. My advice is to just focus on carry weight with her, if anything at all

You've just read my mind. Bleeding and reflect / tesla field are dog moves and nothing can stop an Auto from ripping guts at that point. Mods do add up more funny stuff later on, but my "first" built - Ada for cheap - was to modify her into Melee Maiden and save stimpacts for Dog Meat. Chainsaw is the way to go btw.

Some unique robots have different stats, Codworths for example is really op if you max him out. Maybe Ada is not as powerful in melee and she is more of a tank… I don't know

I found out that, if you want to kill one enemy in particular, get a sentry torso, attach the MIRV or the nukaworld shoulder attachments, and give it miniguns. Then, let it rip.

I don't worry about cary weight anymore. I have like 3k weight I think right now and dont realy worry about it because I have the strong back perk maxed out. You can still jog while overcumbered but u do need to use AP to do it. But you can fast travel tho with perk maxed out. So I just blitz pretty much all junk I come across and never need to get shipments of stuff. And and take pretty much everything and then go to like diamond city and sell all the armour and weapons I pick up and don't want. Or if it has a mod on it I want I will take the mod off I want to keep then sell it. I really like that perk. only bad part is u can't Sprint and you have to manuel shoot a lot because you are usually low on AP

20shadoe There’s a glitch- might’ve patched on PC but definitely not console- that if you tell your companions to pick something up (drop something and then order them to pick it up) they can carry infinite amounts

I just built a robot like the mark 2 version and was wondering if they changed anything in past updates, my robot has 180 DR, 50 ER, 40 carry weight, 574 health, but what bothers me is only 78 damage with hammer saw blades I see yours has 197, did they nerf them? Is there a list of all parts used to make sure I did mine right.

Ok I rebuilt with new parts and got slightly different results but not by much, I now have 192 DR, 75 ER, 70 Carry weight, 579 health, but still 78 damage.

Question, how do I get my automatron to perform a fatality? Do I need certain peices? Ex: assaultron with full body peices of one or assaultron with arms or legs of that of a sentry. Does that affect me getting a fatality with my robot?
