Yeah it's mostly generic, mass produced, boring, boring four mud music now. But yeah there are some producers like Chris Bass, DJ Steaw, Sunny Galaxy, Marc Cotterell, Lombard Street and some others that I can't remember the names of at the moment that have made some fantastic sounding house tunes last decade and this decade.

Sounding like a lot of London man dem having a reunion here. Bet a lot of you are born between '75 and '82, 🤣🥳🥳, been gone out of England since '99, you have know idea how much it means to me to be able too find this music online, not many 88.6 tapes survived continue auto repeat in the car, in the summer (airco, don't be silly!). Hearing this and the old FM sets, (thanks other uploaders!) brings it all flooding back, love it to bits, if only someone was also able to record Peach@Camden, many many hot and sweaty nights there, I nearly cried when I found out, that it's all gone, Palais, Bagley's etc. Props too all who lived it, and with the love and passion who kept it safe through the years, to be able to share today.👍🏻👌🏻👌🏻😎🙌🏻 Respect.

Nice mix indeed althou’ not all UK Garage vibes and definitely not UK artists! Lived that period to death! Was a regular at the main events mostly in London where it was A London Thing (!) to not mix 2 step with soulful US Garage and UK Garage. Anyways, would always go hungry for lack of cash used to hit record shops like Catch A groove, Red records and Black Market Records back in da’ day for US tunes like ( oh my god, why on earth would you max out that pitch…It was never meant to be played at that pitch!!! ) Livin in Ecstasy and 24 Hour Experience ( Jason Load, you did the same with that tune as well. Too fast!!!! …) and Arnold Jarvis’s Swing 52 and many more 12’’ sitting in my studio gathering dust. For me, Todd Edwards not a UK artist but Canadian made the biggest impression on this dance scene althou’ plenty of UK artists where hot back then… Still, all good. Just slightly different genres when played correctly! 🕺🏽

UK GARAGE was a reference to the scene in the 90s not about where these artists originated from. Remember the UK GARAGE scene especially at the start was based on the tracks from the US and even ITALY....... we took them tracks pitched them up , played the dub mixes then even replicated what we heard and done our own take on them tracks ....... NICE N RIPE RECORDS being a good starting point especially their early releases. If you check out my PIRATE SESSIONS MIXES they kind of give you an idea of what kind of tracks helped to build the scene.

Try "Traxsource" , maybe " Beatport" , that may direct you in, the right direction...surprisingly you sometimes get these trax on iTunes on "unmixed" compilations. If you want to have the easy route, a lot of them are easy to find on 12" vinyl on "Discogs" , for like 4 or 5 euro each. If you like vinyl that is.

I started collecting old school garage vinyll from the age of 12 once I got a job at 16 my wages where in one hand and out of the other every week lol i have boxes and boxes full of old school garage even the us speed garage stuff before the UK sound started hitting the shelves I don't mix anymore but I could never part with it it's my youth in a box lol great mix glad I found this 👍👍👍
