It's only in my midlife that I have managed to pull back that shadow and be in that bittersweet remembering. Pluto has me picking scabs again, but this time I have joy too.

You can find this version on the Greatest Hits package “Add It Up 1981-1993”. I agree, this version is much cooler than the one released on “The Blind Leading the Naked”.

Sweet. This video was on KZbin before, but it was super shitty quality. Not a great video either way, unfortunately. But it's one of my favorite songs from VF. It was written for a movie that never got made, I believe. Funny because it sounds like a song made for a movie. You could almost think a modern AI made it today based on the 80s Femmes style if they hadn't done it in the 80s.
