I was at the '03 gathering and Bushwick Bill was performing (RIP), people throwing crazy amounts of things at him, a kid near me picked up a rock, and I stopped him and gave him a look that let him know that wasn't going down. He dropped the rock.

As the juggalo legend goes, Bushwick, performing by himself with no backup, in all the chaos of getting bombarded on stage, proceeded to pick up a bottle of faygo and pour it on his head, screaming and yelling into the mic at the crowd. Bushwick, showing he was not scared or intimidated, that he was enjoying it and embracing it, made the mad juggalo crowd absolutely erupt. The juggalos loved it. From that moment on, Bushwick was initiated into the juggalo family and a part of juggalo lore and legend forever. He was a true ryder.

Yeah actually they did have control over it considering they've not only allowed, but also encouraged that behavior at their shows for years. For the life of me I can't understand why anyone would ever think there's anything ok or cool about that in the first place. I'm sure they've lost plenty of opportunities for big artist to come and perform because of it.
