all jokes aside- hey reader, if you have a friend or family member in your life who says things to you like Violet does here, it's not cute, it's not okay. people like this will tell you later that you are being "too sensitive" or that they were "only joking" but this is them showing you their true selves. you deserve to have people in your life who do not tear you down, it's one thing to jokingly tease each other or have dark humour but if all that person ever does is make you feel like you are not enough - it's time to end that relationship. not saying that's what Gottmik is experiencing here but if you feel like what's being said is hitting close to home, know you are enough and that you deserve people in your life who uplift you and support you.

Gottmik took the high road and acknowledged that they both make mistakes, just different mistakes, and Violet got on the defensive trying to make it seem like mik was just being petty. They were laughing but it's uncomfortable to listen to as an outsider when she didn't say anything mean or bad to Violet.
